Kamelia Taberna

This was recommended by a friend. We went first for dinner and we had Vieiras, salad and pork loin with chips, beyond delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed, staff was friendly with special mention to Carlos, who very kindly explained the menu and took the time to recommend what we ordered and the best wine to go with.
A couple of days later, with a sunnier day, we were walking by and decided to stop for some tapas in the terrace. We had pulpo, pimientos de padrón and bravas.
We love Galicia and the quality of ingredients they have. However, we had a few bad experiences but thanks to Kamelia's Taberna, our trust has been restored and they even had merch so yes, did it! Their tote bag is walking the London streets now.
We will be recommending this place to all our friends visiting Pontevedra!

This place is amazing. We popped it by accident when exploring the old part of Pontevedra and were pleasantly surprised. The place is decorated nicely with a mix of old cobblestone walls and art deco pieces. The service was so nice!!! Our waiter seemed genuinely happy to help us. Finally, the food. We didn't eat much, but the goat cheese salad was mind-blowing, actually the best goat cheese dish of my life. 10/10, definitely worth coming back

I had a meal at Kamelia Taberna after reading the great reviews. The food, service and atmosphere were on point. I had the sangria, tortilla and scallops. (I would have liked to try more, but I only have one stomach, and the portions are generous.) Everything was absolutely delicious, and Imeveryone who worked there delightful . Note: The place is a bit of a hotspot, so go earlier in the evening.

We read a review that said best food of the Camino so far. We absolutely second that. Scallops were so delicious. Everything we ordered including the wine was with such delicious intention.

The best food we've had in Spain yet (a week in). In particular the goats cheese salad, tortilla and calamari was exquisite. Not too mention the cheese flan for dessert. And the staff were beyond friendly as well as helpful. You have to try this place!!

Incredibly delicious! It's a good thing I remembered to take a picture, because in a moment it would have been too late. I had the octopus and spicy potatoes. Everything was mind-blowing. I'm in heaven! I came here because of the high rating on Google, and now I understand why. 10 out of 10!

About the service – the waiter and assistants were very kind and pleasant. It’s so nice when people radiate kindness and sincerity.

Excellent food and service. Pork loin with roquefort sauce was very tender with great flavor - not too strong. Caprese salad also excellent. Very fast and friendly service. Atmosphere nice but not exceptional. Good location. Highly recommended.

Salad!!!Sardines!!!! Calamari!!!!! Sangria!!!!!! Service!!!!! Everything was beyond our expectation's…. our weary Camiño bodies were invigorated after our visit to Kamelia Taberna. Perfecto!!!!!!!!!

Visiting for one night and stumbled upon this amazing restaurant. The owner is incredible and after looking at the menu decided to try their suggestions. I had the tacos that were to die for. Friends had tuna salad and goat salad. But the most amazing thing was the joy and friendship you felt walking into this restaurant. It left like family when I left. I love the food, the atmosphere, the staff....amazing.....

Can't recommend this place highly enough. After 12 days in Portugal and now the Galicia region of Spain, this has been the BEST meal (in an absolute avalanche of fantastic meals). They have an awesome goats cheese salad with honey dressing. It's just the yummiest salad I've ever had, And I'm 55!

The food was outstanding here! The raxo was simply the best. I don’t see how it could get better anywhere else. The caprese salad was the best one I’ve ever had anywhere. My husband loved the pulpo and all the other dishes that came out looked equally outstanding. Do not skip this place!

Damian and Michele were amazing! They treated us so so good, they smiled and joked and did their best to make us enjoy our staying there. The food is great, sangria also..! We loved it

This restaurant has an amazing salad and great clams! I would definitely eat here again and can recommend it if you're looking for a fancier dinner!

Came here for lunch after walking our Camino stretch. Lovely staff, very attentive, even allowed us to sit inside with our Australian shepherd. The food was outstanding, totally hit the spot. We had the goat cheese salad (highly recommend), the tacos and the Roquefort pork loin. Highly reccomend for anyone visiting Pontevedra!

I think this was the best restaurant we ate at on the Camino. We had the pimientos de padron, a raxion of pork, croquetas, and a generous litre of sangria (not overcrowded with ice like in other places). I can’t recommend it enough.

As a Portuguese, tortilla de patata is my absolute favourite Spanish food and here was *the-best-tortilla* I've had!! (and I've tried my fair share!)
Staff was super nice, all the food was delicious and the 5 stars are well deserved. Will be back!

Fantastic meal, good atmosphere and food very tasty. I would recommend the tortilla. Miguel provided the best service, he really made it a great experience.

Cool place. As a civilized northerner the group of spaniards next to me were very loud which made the experience worse but it was very nice nonetheless. Every table was reserved so we had to eat kinda fast so get a reservation.

Absolutely loved dining here during our Camino. Super friendly staff, brilliant food (especially the goats cheese salad), and lovely sitting out in the beautiful square on a sunny evening.

We stumbled across Kamelia after long hard rainy day hiking on the Camino - the great food and atmosphere really made our day - a very kind waiter stopped us ordering too many dishes as the helpings are generous
