Camping Trevélez

An absolute fantastic experience. It is a very large and spread out campground. High up in the mountains, so the nights get pretty cool. Trees, hiking, a small town nearby, extremely clean bathrooms and showers, a small swimming pool, everything you could ask for. Absolutely loved it.

Amazing camping place with good service. Only crux being, you choose to be close to bathrooms OR you get good views. Me, nivel 5 with the best views of the valley was a no thinker. Amazing starlight/moonlight. Service is simple but very good, everything you need. Lady at reception was super helpful and pretty much a mountain guide on her own.

Great experience for 2 cyclists. We had a beautiful camp spot and the staff were very kind and even packed us 2 lunches to go. We would love to come back!

Wonderful location set in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. 1.5km out of the town but a wonderful walk in. The owners are two Aussies & the staff are tremendously helpful. There are warm showers, washing up area for cooking, washer/dryers, powered site & beautiful views to wake up to. Affordable and nice place

best camp ever.
we were group of 4 stayed in a small cabine, which had a plenty of room and own bathroom, for a very reasonable price.
Good food in the restaurant and the owners especially the landlady were just awesome. She speaks fluently english and French and has a plenty of tips for good treks into Siera Nevada. You can also rent treking poles at the camp.

Very nice campsite. The owners had plenty of tips for local hikes and are great people. Good facilities and the food in the restaurant is great, try the ham! Be prepared for low temperatures at night if you're in a tent, especially outside summer season.

Rural mountain campsite, perfect base for hiking, biking or just chilling. Lovely village 10 minute walk away. Staff friendly and helpful.

Very nice and authentic campsite, clean bathrooms and great restaurant. I highly recommend this place if you like to camp in nature with beautiful views and lots of hiking opportunities. We will come back!

Camping Trevélez located in the highest village in Spain. A perfect spot to start your hiking in Sierra Nevada. Super friendly people who can advice you with your trip as well. Good restaurant / bar and clean place overall. 5 stars!!!

Excellent campsite, got to say basic but excellent place to stay, stayed in our motorhome right at the top with fabulous views over Trevelez super stay wish we could have stayed longer,

Such a nice place! Amazing view of the mountains where I pitched my tent. The nicest staff and just such a relaxed vibe. Hot showers!! Would definitely recommend :D

Super atmosphere, nice views, great hosts and even the restaurant was open out of season! There is a small trail that leads to the village in about 15 min. Wonderful stay!

No bad points here , it does what it says on the tin! Spectacular views lovely owners and if you get the chance to chat to Ricardo ( the owner) it's an education this lovely guy has lived the life . Clean and friendly I will be back .
