La Fragua II

La Fragua is a charming family run hotel with clean, spacious rooms and great views. Staff were very helpful, breakfast was typical for the area (bread, meat, cheese, fruit etc) but of good quality. The hotel next door of the same name serves a wide range of delicious regional fare and is highly regarded locally. The perfect spot to catch some winter sun while having a drink and some tapas. Highly recommend to others. Note : Travelez is STEEP - once you arrive you may not want to leave the hotel for the remainder of your stay - and you don’t need to !

I actually did not stay here for the night. I made a reservation, but had to change my plans. I am giving 5 stars because I feel that it is a very special place. The owner gave me the best directions, helping me find my way to a hiking trail on the edge of town. I can tell that they do everything with great care. Stay here if you are in Trevélez!

A gem in the picturesque spanish village Trevélez.
The hotel is located at approximately 1650 meters above sea level giving you a stunning view of the landscape, and, if you're lucky, Sierra Nevada.
If you want to ascend even more there's a walking trail nearby taking you another 100 meters higher.
You are advised to park on the plaza 150 meters from the hotel, unless your vehicle is small and your balls are big.
The staff is very welcoming, nice and understanding and make their outmost to make you feel at home.
Hospitable rooms with floor heating, large restrooms and comfortable beds await you.
Dinner is served at a beautiful little tavern a short walk away.
You will surely enjoy the fresh ham and the warmth from the stove.
On top of all this the cost is modest.
I will surely visit again!

A simple, relaxed, clean hotel with excellent views, friendly staff, and wonderful breakfast... Staff couldn't be more helpful and restaurant and bar near by is excellent and reasonably priced. Close to the main trails and bus stop for exploring the Taha and Alpuharra

Stayed for one night at this quiet and beautiful place. Large and clean rooms, friendly staff. Exceptional view from the balcony.

Staff was very helpful and accomodating. They only speak a little English but we could use Google Translate to communication so it was not a problem.

The rooms are clean and full of light, the staff is very nice and helpful, and the hotel restaurant is amazing.

El hotel es muy bonito, habitaciones muy grandes y con todo lo necesario.
El personal es muy amable y estuvieron atentos de todo. La ubicación es increible, tiene unas vistas brutales y el restaurante ami personalmente me encanto.
Como pega voy a decir que el hotel no tiene servicio por las noches, lo que implica que el hotel por la noche está totalmente vacio de personal, o eso parece a simple vista, y eso crea una sensación de estar mas en una casa rural que en un hotel.
La primera noche algun huesped monto una fiesta en su habitación y estuvo con musica y gritos hasta altas horas de la noche, y el no tener con quien comunicarte para solucionar ese problema, fue algo que no me gusto.

Pero fue una cosa puntual y volveria al hotel sin dudarlo.

La comida espectacular, platos completos, super sabrosos , abundantes, viajo mucho por España, y puedo decir con seguridad que uno de los mejores sitios para comer en la zona, camareros super majos, muy amables, nos invitaron a unos entrantes espectaculares como unos patés de verduras y de jamón con tostaditas caseras, hemos pedido casi todos carnes de la carta para compartirlo entre los 5, y todos estaban riquísimos, ensalada de fragua riquísima, y helado de higos muy buena, salimos rodando literalmente, es un sitió donde pagas a gusto y dejas la propina encantado por trato y comida que te dan, vino de casa un vino decente, también nos invitó el camarero a unos chupitos caseros muy Buenos, yo siendo un quejica con la Comida aconsejo 10000% este sitio, eso si , hay que reservar antes, y mas en temporada de senderismo, gracias al personal por buen trato y su atención !

Tras pasar nuestra segunda estancia en el hotel la fragua(finde de nochevieja cenando el 31 en su restaurante) nuevamente sólo podemos hablar bien del conjunto.La comida estuvo buenísima,todo a su tiempo y los camareros(en especial un italiano y un chico joven) súper simpáticos,atentos y amables.Trevelez nos encanta, repetiremos.

Det er fin god utsikt. Her er det et stort basseng, som er litt kaldt.
Frokosten er litt kjedelig, men det som er der er godt. Det er stort rom og et fint bad.
