Amazing place to stay after the hike. Dani organised everything so hospitable and good. The food and breakfast were amazing as well. We enjoyed every moment of it!

Amazing location and beautiful hike from Espot. The host provided us with hiking routes in the area and was a big help. The downside is that during the night there was a rain storm and water came into the room.

Incredibly beautifully located rifugio. Perfect to stay for a night and see the sunset / sunrise

Facts:
- Multiple rooms, e.g. with 12 beds like shown in the picture. Good ventilation feasible through windows.
- Hot shower available (2,5€ / 6 min)
- breakfast 7:00-8:30 / Dinner 19:00-21:00
- Very friendly and helpful staff

I found that food in a Refugio in the Pyrenees is generally not too good.

Very attentive and friendly workers. Beautiful and quiet place. Very good food, with a very intimate small peninsula.

Perfect location near a lake, clean, the dinners and breakfast are generous in amount even though they are expensive (as in all of the Refugis in Aiguestortes)

Es un lugar idílico para pasar la noche, además los guardeses muy amables y serviciales, buena comida y mucho silencio para dormir.

Per mi, el millor refugi del parc nacional d'Aigüestortes i estany de Sant Maurici. Té l'equilibri just entre facilitat d'accés i lloc remot per oferir el millor del parc a qualsevol nivell d'excursionistes.
Habitacions espaioses i amb nombre reduït d'hostes. Serveis més que adequats amb possibilitat de dutxes d'aigua calenta i àpats més que generosos per refer energies.
L'entorn és una joia. Situat a la vora de l'estany i amb una infinitat de rutes al voltant fan que el refugi sigui un bon port de sortida o un far d'arribada de la ruta.
Un personal molt amable i entès disposats a oferir totes les ajudes imaginables.

Refugi ubicat en un paradís del parc nacional d'Aigüestortes.
La pujada des de Espot es dura pero en arribar al Refugi Josep Mª Blanc tens el premi a l'esforç fet el paisatge que l'envolta et carrega d'energia i et fa que la baixada sigui més lleu.
De les habitacions no puc opinar ja que no ens varem quedar a dormir pero el menjador interior amb aquella estufa donava molt de caliu i ganes de quedar-si.
