Every dish was delicious and served timely. We also met a few people there that were doing the Camino walk and we had lots of fun getting to know their journey.

As i was recommended by a worker in a fuel station nearby, i walked into the restaurant with my friend's family of 9 members including ladies and kids we were treated well, it was a nice service as well as the food was excellent The quantity was more than enough for the " paella " we ordered ( 4 was enough for 6 ) rest of all we ordered were also excellent

The wine, delicious. The Galician octopus, authentic and flavorful. The Tarta de queso, to die for and wonderfully homemade.
After many kilometers of walking El Camino, this is the place to reward yourself with a good meal and wine. Slightly more expensive than your average Galician restaurant but oh so worth it

Be prepared. Very delicious food. The restaurant was fully booked when we tried to make a reservation but we walked in and they welcomed us. Ordered salad, octopus and “secreto “ pork - everything was perfect. The octopus was to die for, pls order it and thank me later. After 20 km walk today it was a real reward. We were sat in the front area, not in the fancy one. Love it.

Excellent food, wine and service.
We went for the "Ox T-bone steak cooked on a hot stone" as a main. The meat was so tender.
"Patatas a lo pobre y rico" is a good starter option if you like fries (not exactly french fries) and eggs. This starter comes with a top layer of "jamón 5J" (top quality cured ham). Delicious all together!
Cheesecake was also top notch: cooked cheesecake, mellow cheese at the very core with the right amount of sugar!
We had a "Pago de Carraovejas" to pair with the food, a good "Ribera de Duero" will never let you down.
And service is always helpful, with a smile on their face and ready for you!
If you are close to Santiago de Compostela and like food, It's a Must!

Great service and accomodation despite a "slight" language descrepancy. Best food that we've had on the trip by far.

Highly recommend the Padrones Pimiento and any meat dish. It was delicious.

Casa Barqueiro es el alma gastronómico de galicia, ese puede ser el titular. Rogelio es el santo y seña de este restaurante, muy querido en toda España por los mejores chefs nacionales y peregrinaje de todos ellos por aquí una vez al año, en un acto benéfico que organiza Rogelio con ese corazón tan grande que tiene. De la comida solo decir que tiene un productazo gallego de temporada y que en pocos sitios vas a comer mejor que aquí, está a 20 minutos De Santiago, pero merece muy mucho desplazarse y conocerlo y ya de paso, conoces el espectacular Puente Maceira de origen medieval y muy bien conservado, a escasos 5 minutos.

Buenas empanadas y pulpo magnífico. Al día siguiente en el restaurante las croquetas y las carnes divinas, pero la tarta de queso excepcional.
