Venta Valdivia, Algatocin

A real find. It was empty when we arrived on a Wednesday at 1400 but not long after there were another 4 tables seated. The scallops were perfectly cooked, as was the steak. Will definitely be coming back! Thank you

We had an amazing evening at Valdivia and the food was delicious. We ordered different steaks which were both cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. We asked our waiter for suggestions and he was more than happy to help us choose wine and food. The service was outstanding, with really friendly staff who were ready to help and there when needed. I would fully recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area- we’ve had a superb evening and it was worth every penny.

This is a gem although we only had a breakfast here. No request refused and everything freshly prepared. Delightful old mill with small museum attached. Same family for over 200 years. Delightful!

Fabulous place and a Fabulous setting , spotless dining room, white linnens and crystal cut glasses, a little more upmarket than most Ventas. And a little bit more expensive, but you get what you pay for, the food, service and attention was superb. Very meat oriented so if your veggie probably not for you? very busy the day we went and it was still excellent, no rush and very relaxed. We will be back..

Oh such a lovely place. A family run business that is carried out with much care and attention. The food absolutely delicious, especially I love the solomillo en salsa Jimenez, ( pork in wine and raisin sauce) con patatas cocidas( with boiled potatoes)....the service is exceptional, attentive, friendly polite etc. They have a lovely clean bright dining room with flowers on every table. Also a very pretty terrace,shaded with vines with the sound of running water from the mill running through . Soothing and very peaceful.
The choices of food are very good, and all so delicious!
An excellent place to eat and such reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

Fantastic location perfect for sunsets. Make sure you check out the old flour mill workings still intact. The food is fantastic and it's also where most of the water from the whole valley comes from.

We just happened upon this restaurant on a drive from Fuengirola. What a find! Attentive waiters and great great food. Very idyllic place in the mountains. Will be back for sure.
