Words cannot describe how dreamy this hotel was! Outside of the views, the hotel was clean and cozy! Basically a home away from home! Loves the owners and all the staff that worked in the hotel! 10/10 recommend this place!

La Fructuosa is a beautiful place to stay. It is everything I wanted and the town of Gaucín is stunning. A very Espana hotel, set right in the village. Everything is in walking distance.

Quaint up market restaurant nestled in Gaucin. It's worth seeking out. Local foid with a sophisticated twist. Our favourites were the amazing goats cheese salad and pate with Pedro ximenez sauce. Oxtail and iberia pork were delicious 😋 too...finished off work local sherry and dessert. Bit more expensive but worth it as a treat!

Gem of a hotel in the heart of beautiful Gaucin. Stunning room with incredible views. Outstanding service and food. Would highly recommend.

Five stars for everything, highly recommended. Bed is very comfortable we had a good sleep, rooms with amazing view, lovingly decorated, it's a place to relax and unwind. Breakfast at the hotel has a lot of choice, fresh croissants, fruit, scrambled eggs, freshly made coffee just for you. The restaurant in the hotel has very good wines, interesting starters, well presented main courses, tasty desserts, all made with quality ingredients..simply all round no fault..

It is amazing restaurant if you ever go to Gaucin this the place, what you can't miss out!

Wij had dinner in the restaurant which was an incredible experience. The terrace feels like a covered garden with lots of plants. The view at Gibraltar and beyond is beautiful.
The staff is friendly, which really helps having a great night out.

The food is without exception excellent. As an appetizer we got hummous with carrot sticks and bread. Loved it!
We had for starters the tempura battered shrimps with avocado, and the goat cheese salad with anchovies and tomatoes. For three persons these two starters were good seized.
We loved everything about the starters, the flavours and textures were well matched!
For mains we had the grilled tuna with vegetables, which was a daily special, and the salmon with aubergine. Both were great!
For desserts we had the chocolate volcano and the french brioche toast with cinnamon ice cream. It was a great ending for a lovely dinner in a romantic settting.
Highly recommended!

Stayed at this lovely place for a work retreat and found it and the surrounding restaurants and village a really lovely place to be. The hotel looks to have been recently remodelled, with a fabulous water-misted terrace and amazing views over the countryside. The owner couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Some of the rooms face the quiet road while others have a view over the rolling hills. Would certainly stay here again.

We stayed here for four nights. The room was large with panoramic views over the countryside. my only criticism was that usage of coffee and tea in the rooms came with a fee.

Went for a hike to Gaucin and ended up on a beautiful terrace enjoying a stunning five course meal. Absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared food. Great wine too. The owner and chef even whipped up a feast for all the children we brought with us. A surprise day with a surprise menu. Will be going back!!

I have only eaten in the restaurant…. But without doubt a delightful experience. The welcome and service were exemplary and the food was delicious.

A last minute visit to the restaurant on my last night in Gaucin. A lovely and warm dining room with friendly and efficient service. We were both very impressed with our starters and main courses. Really good. Paired with the house red which was al great just made a gorgeous evening. Thank you and will come again next time in Gaucin .

Very gracious and helpful management/owners. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The rooms have high-quality linens and each has its own interesting motif; very well done. The location is excellent in the center of town, which is easily walkable.

Lovely and classy hotel with a great restaurant. The view from our room was stunning, you can see Gibraltar and Morocco! The hotel is well decorated by the owners who also have a workshop next door. I highly recommend staying there. Perfect for a couple of days away from the coast.

Charming little hotel with magnificent views. A lot of attention has been paid to the little things which made our stay very comfortable. Excellent hosts and will definitely stay here again when we come to Gaucin.

As an european couple traveling with our
dog (IG @cocotravelstories) we were really happy to find a place during our trip trough Andalucia with such wonderful conditions!

First of all the pet friendliness which is always the biggest point was absolutely there and everyone was so kind to her.

The hotel is located in a magical little white town called "Gaucin" on the hills with a dreamly view over the south coast of Spain and with good weather you can see till Gibraltar and even the coast of Africa.

Our hosts and the owners Daniel & Cathrin gave us a really warm welcome and let us feel everytime when we were at home.
In every room of 6 in total you can see the special art and boutique style with different names and themes.

The restaurant was another big highlight where they offer a exquisite regional cuisine what you enjoy on the terrace under the wine grapes with homemade fresh products from breakfast to dinner.

Also the art is a big part of influence because of the owner Cathrin who is a very experienced and talented artist with her atelier next door and has given the hotel it's own style.

If you really want to enjoy a unique and personal stay far away from the mass tourism, than this is a big recommendation!

Pilar and the whole staff where so competent, kind and offered a perfect service.

Stayed for a night in this quiet lovely place 5* loads of attractions around with many activities.
Very friendly lady that organise the breakfast.

Wonderful family driven hotel, with great breakfast and dinner. The owners are super nice. Very welcoming to bicyclists. Good location and fantastic view, where you can even see Gibraltar at the horizon.
