Casa Mosaica

We stayed 4 very happy weeks at Casa Mosaica. It's gorgeous! Heavenly views of the Andulusian mountains, a beautiful Moorish garden with palm trees, jasmine and water features, comfortable, stylish rooms and a swimming pool with a shaded terrace, perfect for al fresco lunches/dinners. Absolutely loved having Kevin and Geoffrey, the sweetest cats EVER mooching about! The super friendly owners, Emma and Mike, were a fountain of knowledge about the local area with hot tips about the best place to eat or shop but they always maintained a discrete distance too. Casa Mosaica is absolute perfection and I couldn't recommend it highly enough!

We loved our stay in Casa Mosaica very much. The cassita is well equipped and very spacious for two people. Although Emma, the landlady wasn't there the communication was very good when necessary.
The house is unique as well as the garden. Beautiful flowers, different sitting area's and several (mosaic) details. In the house is everything you want including a top-working wifi, the bed is very good and the view from the roof terrace is breath taking. We loved the art in the house as well.
Beside the casa Gaucin is a nice village with a few very good restaurants. We recommend especially Platero & co and Azulete. Even the second time we ate there it was stille surprising and delicious.
But also without eating in restaurants is Casa Mosaica a secret top-stay for a visit to Andalusia!

Total heaven. This is not a commercial holiday let. This is a classy thoughtfully designed and immaculately decorated home from home. We stayed as a party in both the main House and the Casita, which worked perfectly. The outside areas are heavenly. Lots of books and crannies to loose yourselves in, and lovely terraces and shaded areas for eating all fresco or reading your book. We can’t recommend it highly enough. We shall be back!

Stayed 4 weeks over the Christmas period and could not have asked for a better Christmas with family and friends intermittently staying with us over the period. Everything was totally to our expectations and more, with Casa Mosaica being one of those special places in the world, where once discovered, like us will return again and again. Emma you are an exceptional host, going that extra mile to ensure one can indulge themselves in the comfort of your home.

We are just returning from a week in Emma’s gorgeous casita and what a week it was. It is so tastefully decorated and has everything you could think of in terms of facilities (and a few things we didn’t think of!)

I can say without a doubt that this is the best rental property I have ever stayed in, and just the perfect place for a getaway as a couple.

We spent most of our time either lounging by the pool or sitting on the rooftop (which has views to DIE for).

We are already planning our next visit. Don’t think twice about staying here :)

We found Casa Mosaica to be everything and more than we expected. It has been beautifully designed and is equipped with absolutely everything you would need. The gardens and the spectacular pool provide an oasis of calm within the hustle and bustle of the village of Gaucín. Definitely a place I would rent again.

Five stars are inadequate. Best house we have stayed in over 25 years of holiday rentals. You feel more like a house guest than a renter. Beautiful property, so well kept and equipped. Ruffi and her family very lovely and helpful. Emma could not have done more to make us feel at home. Very much hope to go back next year and the next and the next ....... It helps that Gaucin is also Paradise!!!

Perfect in every way .

Este lugar es un pequeño paraíso y nuestro único problema fue tener que volver a Madrid. La ubicación es excelente, con impresionantes vistas de las montañas desde la casa, pero a poca distancia de tiendas, restaurantes y bares en Gaucín. Emma fue muy acogedora y nos hizo sentir como en casa, nos encantó pasar tiempo junto a la piscina y disfrutar de cenas en el jardín. Todo el lugar está bellamente diseñado y decorado con mosaicos que lo hace muy especial. Nos alojamos en Casita Mosaica, que tiene unas vistas increíbles y está llena de detalles bien pensados como flores frescas en las habitaciones. ¡Esperamos poder volver pronto!
