Restaurante El Pilón

We went here with a friends the food was fabulous . I had pork stuffed with cheese and spinach- delicious, My wife had salmon , and the serving would have fed 3 back in the UK.

We recently visited this beautiful restaurant and we were blown away by how accommodating the very friendly staff are. They offer plenty of choices for anyone who eats a plant based/vegan diet. Inform them ahead of your visit and they will prepare you several delicious options. We had homemade gazpacho & garlic mushrooms with sun-dried tomatoes and garlic bread. For mains we had a tofu and chickpea stew with super tasty avocado mash and salad.. gorgeous 😍 highly recommend and we will definitely return in the future. On leaving they are kind enough to offer you a drink and they are huge measures..enjoy 💚

Delicios food and high quality serving. This place fits very well in the whole Competa ambiance. Old building, but very well maintained, built somehow into a stone wall, you have to climb the stairs to go inside.
Menu is diverse with options for all tastes. I’ve really enjoyed the whole experience because this wasn’t just a simple dinner.

Always love visiting El Pilon. The good is always great and the cocktail menu very varied. They have great wines to accompany your meal. Dani and the team are super friendly.
It has a really authentic Spanish atmosphere and they have a veggie and vegan menu as well as an extensive regular menu.
Highly recommend!

Best restaurant in Competa. We have been visiting this place for three years and have never been disappointed with the quality. The prawns in almond sauce are excellent. Good steaks and ribs in barbecue sauce (now only on the additional menu). Nice service. If you book a table on the upper terrace, you will have a beautiful view of Competa.

A wonderful restaurant with fantastic food and great service. I didn't have the steak but everyone who did had a treat.

We had the mixed grill and duck breast with the chocolate fondant as desert. Very good main courses and I really recommend the chocolate fondant desert! It's to die for, best we've had.

Lovely setting, especially from the top floor. Always had lovely meals here and Dani and his staff provide great service.
Great Sunday lunch this week then a drink to finish outside. Booked up for Christmas dinner again. Last year was fab!

Great location if a little challenging for some to get to with steps up. We'll worth making the trip. Good food and good views. Reservations recommended as its not large. The cosy setting creates a lovely atmosphere and a few outside tables on the balcony. Interesting menu and some tasty options from the outdoor grill. Just a lack of service for drinks refills. Very minor issue, that shouldn't put you off visiting.

What a great restaurant, been here every time I've visited competa. I had the lamb leg and it was beautiful.

What a great spot! We are in town for one night and they were open. No reservation but they were kind to seat us. The atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxed. The wait team very kind and attentive. We ordered the house red (very smooth and nice), spinach salad, shrimp pil-pil and the pork tenderloin medallions grilled. All so good, would recommend without hesitation.
