La Fontcalda (warm spring)

Lovely little hideaway in the mountains. The drive up from Gandesa was nothing other than Epic. Amazing vistas. Don't expect too warm water tho. I'm guessing it was around 26°C. Perfect if you swim in the fresh river first and then soak in the hot part. The waterfalls, the vegetation, the amenities,... absolutely lovely 😍

Lovely place to visit. A nice warm spring nearby, and areas to bathe in the river. Restaurant here has friendly staff, and menu available in english. Picnic area with tables outside. Toilets available in both the restaurant and outside. We parked at Antiga estació de Prat de Comte (old station along the via Verde) 15 minute flat walk, with a steep decline near the spring.

Great mountain spot for path walking, hiking etc. There is a river extremely clean so even the crayfish are there. And there's plenty of them. Water is pretty warm. Overall beautiful place.

Very nice experience. Hot spring? For mountains yes, but it is only 25-28 degrees on the spring. The river is a little bit cijfer, butcvery fun to do.

Great place with two different access. Avoid road via mountains it’s extremely dangerous. Choose destination Antiga estació de Prat de Comte and then walk about 1 km. Great place to spent few hours.

- There is also a restaurant
- I recommend going after a week or a few days of rain 🌧⛈

A worth visiting place. Amazing views and exceptional atmosphere. This place could be a good alternative to seashore attractions. Still mind your way in advance when planning your trip as there are 2 ways to get there.

What a scenic place! But what I like especially - curvy mountain road leading to it.

Great experience! Recommend to water lovers! Easy access, some nature views, also there is fish to enjoy, water is really warm, should be great especially during winter times , big spaces!!

Very nice place to take a bath in day's with that are very worm, there are places where you can jump into the water between the two rock walls, the temperature of the water was just right 😉

Nice place for a little hike around the hotsprings. Maybe even a refreshing swim!

Spectacular

Aunque el camino para llegar me impresionó mucho por la dificultad de la carretera, lo cierto es que las vistas adentrandote y travesando la montaña eran espectaculares. Cuando llegamos abajo nos encontramos con la ermita muy bonita, el balneario y las aguas termales. El enclave es precioso. Realmente merece la pena desplazarse para disfrutarlo.
