Parador de Zamora

Lovely Paradore near Douro river. Spacious rooms and secluded pool area. Ideally placed in town centre in easy walking distance to local sights

Excellent, quiet night's stay in 15th century moorish citadel converted into a luxury Hotel from popular Parador chaín. I've stayed over the years (30 years now) at a few Paradors and this one well represents what they stand for. Quiet, historic, spatious and superbly located in the heart of the Old Town. My bedroom was fantastic and the bathroom too was nice and large with good shower. The layout was great. The bed was comfy and sleep was good.

All of the Hotel teams in Reception provided a thoroughly professional service for me in both English and Spanish, as I speak it fluently. We also were helped to watch the TV in a social room and were looked after by the bar team who served as excellent Zamoran cheese and cured Leon beef.

It was easy to park outside to drop off luggage. I also parked next to the Library nearby and for an overnight stay it cost me only 4€. Overall a great experience even off season and it's more value for money in mid February. I hope I can revisit in the future.

Great terrace for a drink with excellent views of the city. Service had improved greatly since the last time we visited.

A little bit pricey but you get what you pay for. The place is spacious and comfortable with a lot of natural light. The rooms are equipped with a modern furniture and have a lot of space.
I recommend to have the breakfast in the Parador because the buffet ia full of delicious options.
The staff is helpful and friendly.
The location is perfect right in the heart of the city.

Incredible building with very nice rooms and service. Parador is very well located and allows you to visit all of the interest points in Zamora without needing to travel by car. The pool is big and accomodating as well as the space by the pool' side. A major plus during the summer! We had a 5⭐ stay and would definitely recommend staying here!

In the center, wholesome welcome, spacious rooms

A very interesting city hotel with lots of history and atmosphere, our room had a great view towards the river and it was spacious and warm the bathroom was huge and clean, the breakfast was very tasty and plentiful with eggs cooked to order and a great selection of cold meats and cheeses plus all the usual breakfast stuff, the bar was very nice and the barmaid was very nice and friendly also the food in the bar was delicious if you want a smaller dinner rather than a three course meal.
Also we managed to park in the square just outside our bedroom for just €3.50 for 22 hours.

This place is so beautiful, clean and the staff is really friendly. you feel you are living like two centuries ago but the technology of nowadays. The town is really special and the food beyond this world. 150 % recommended

The staff are down-to-earth, friendly, and cheerful, glad to help you improve your Spanish or find an ATM; we got lots of fantastic advice about parking, money, upcoming festivals, how to conduct family research here--even unrealistic itineraries. The restaurant is well-studied in the local cuisine. Views of the plazas and the horizon over the Duero are great. The stone and wood and iron hardware add genuine gravitas.

The perfect Parador: a beautiful historic building, great local food (especially the Zamoran cheese) and a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Parking's a little tight, and paying, next to the hotel. There's a public car park nearby and they have a small, paying underground car park if there's space.

Elegant and rustic. Beautiful place surrounded by history. Rooms are very comfortable, service friendly and breakfast delicious! All that you'd expect from a Parador!

The Parador of Zamora is a great place to stay. Perfectly placed in the ancient part of town it is a historic building itself. Great service people and food!

Very nice Hotel but also able to have a meal or drink without being residents. The view from the terrace is wonderful.

Last time i was there, cause work congress, they have incredible food, and place's views are so relaxing.
