A thoroughly enjoyable stay at a beautiful hotel. The apartment we stayed in was clean, well maintained and well equipped with the comforts of home.

Great and absolutely beautiful place to stay for a few days. It was extremely hot when we where there, so we didn’t do much besides enjoying the beautiful garden and cooling down in the pool.

It is just a hidden gem. If you still have some doubts - leave them and book this place immediately. Is is incredibly beautiful, peaceful and hospitable hotel. It is literally attached to medieval village - you will have a key from a magic door to travel in time. Perfection.

We had a spectacular stay at Can Bassa in the Els Angels "mother in law" unit. Spread out over three floors, it was much bigger than we expected from the photos, with a terrific view of the Emporda countryside from a large top-floor patio. The unit was spotless and the location was perfect -- on the edge of the gorgeous Medieval village of Madremanya. Perfect for exploring the entire Costa Brava and even the Catalan Pyrenees (we did both). The only noise we heard was the occasional chiming of the nearby church bell and the doves cooing in the morning! So relaxing!

Pedro and staff could not have been nicer & we got excellent dinner recommendations every time we asked for them.

Highly recommend Can Bassa; you won't be disappointed.

Madremanya is a beautiful village and Can Bassa is the perfect place to stay in, while visiting this medieval village in catalunya's country side. The decor is rustic but modern but not in an overloading manner. The whole mansion is very well maintained and everything is extremely clean. The architects whom redesigned it did an overwhelming job and the result is cozy, romantic and enjoyable.

Wonderful location, nice rooms and houses with a lot of lovely details! You can feel that Pere and Isabel put a lot of themselve in there and love what they do! We love coming here as a family and will be back!

Totally relaxing

Maravillosa estancia en un hotel precioso, muy cuidado, con una fantástica atención a los huéspedes que hacen sentir como en casa. El entorno es ideal para disfrutar de unos días de relax. Y la masía no puede ser más bonita. ¡Volveremos sin duda!

Estuvimos en la habitación "Lavanda", que es enorme. Una cama de más de dos metros, presión en una ducha encantadora y espaciosa, sofá y sitio de sobras para dejar pasar el tiempo tranquilísimos de cara al jardín con una piscina deliciosa de cara al valle y un entorno maravilloso.

Desayunos completísimos servidos con muchísimo estilo y productos locales, ayuda con indicaciones para descubrir el entorno, sitio para dejar las bicicletas...Nos sentimos muy acogidos y respetados.

Volveré sin dudar! Las amplias habitaciones totalmente reformas, pero respetando la decoración propia de una masía, tienen su propia entrada desde el jardín, lo que da una completa sensación de intimidad, además de contar con unas vistas espectaculares. La piscina y los espacios comunes están muy bien cuidados y ofrecen espacios diferentes para disfrutar de la paz del lugar. El servicio es amable y solícito. Además el desayuno es muy completo y cuenta con productos km 0 y, por tanto, de gran calidad.

Hôtel + maisons à louer dans la très jolie campagne de l’emporda et à seulement 20 minutes des plages.
Les propriétaires sont très charmants (et parlent français), l’accueil est irréprochable et on se sent comme à la maison. Il y a également une petite piscine très agréable.
Le site est magnifique, il s’agit d’une vieille maison aux pierres apparentes. La decoration est simple mais magnifique.
Si vous en avez l’occasion arrêtez vous dans ce petit coin de paradis!

Es una casa, con varias habitaciones muy bonitas, muy bien decoradas, con un baño espectacular. Estuvimos en la habitación Lavanda y muy bien. Descansamos sin ruidos. El desayuno muy bien. Hay una pequeña piscina, eso sí, si hay niños seguramente no puedas bañarte tranquilo. Disponen de alguna habitación y de apartamentos para familias. Está muy cerca de bonitos pueblos medievales y de Girona.
Recibimos un trato muy bueno y nos gustaría habernos podido quedar más días pero no fue posible. un Remanso de paz en mitad de una zona verde, preciosa.
Volveremos

Preciosa masía rehabilitada con mucho gusto.
Las habitaciones son amplias, el desayuno típico de la zona es muy sabroso y el personal muy atento.
Un alojamiento ideal también en invierno para poder visitar con más tranquilidad los pueblos del Empordà, hacer excursiones y desconectar.

Ubicacio excepcional, molt tranquil, habitacions amplies, servei excepcional, i un jardi i piscina brutals! Es bikefriendly, i un punt estrategic per començar rutes en bici pel baix empordà. Moooolt recomanable
