El Racó de Madremanya Hotel

This is a gorgeous gem of a hotel. A little oasis of calm and serenity. Beautiful grounds, rooms and restaurant. I travelled on my own and never once felt alone. The staff are on hand if you need them, but do not hover. Everything is set up for a wonderful, peaceful vacation. Highly recommend.

We went to this beautiful adults-only pet-friendly hotel with the idea to relax. Everything was beyond our expectations: food was amazing, a cozy beautiful room (Suite Crema), beautiful surroundings. Air conditioning, bathtub and the rest of installations worked properly with no issues.

On the other hand, I have to make a special mention to the beauty and wellness treatments: very professional staff, top quality massages, very special attention.

The price was more than correct for what you get at the end - I see some comments about the price been too high but I’ve never been in a hotel in this category with such attention to detail. Some times we need to review our own expectations 😄They even asked us before cutting the grass, in case the noise bothered us.

We will definitely come back during winter ❤

Definitely the most amazing place ever. It was so quiet and peaceful. The hosts are very friendly and caring.
Breakfast was amazingly fresh and good, the homemade yoghurt was so delicious and they would ask how you’d like your eggs and they would make it for you.

Dinner was perfect! It was the best in two weeks traveling through Spain.

We had the villa with private pool and this was lovely and romantic. It was very clean, had good beds and an amazing bath.

We would love to come back and try one of the other lovely rooms they have.

We had such a relaxing stay at El Raco. It is a bit off the beaten path, but within driving distance to many of the amazing places that Catalunya has to offer. Entering the town of Madremanya makes you feel that stepped back in time.

The hotel itself is so relaxing. It is adults only, so it is always peaceful and quiet. The attentiveness of the staff is top notch. They quickly took care of any request for us and were always so professional. Our room was spectacular. One of the pictures below shows the full moon from our private deck. They have 2 pools on the premises and all the grounds are immaculate.

The only thing that was not excellent was the dinner. While convenient to get dinner at the hotel, I found the food to be just okay. Not bad, but with how everything else in this hotel greatly exceeds expectations, this was underwhelming.

Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone that is looking to stay around the Girona area. You won't be disappointed.

Precioso hotel que transmite calma y serenidad, y te transporta a otra época. Decorado con detalle y gusto. La habitación marrón con chimenea es preciosa. La zona del jardín y de la piscina espectacular. Destacar la amabilidad y la profesionalidad del personal. El desayuno variado y completo. Inmejorable.

El hotel es muy bonito, sobre todo las zonas exteriores, muy cuidadas y donde se respira un ambiente de relax total. Las dos piscinas, aunque pequeñas, son muy agradables y la decoración en general muy bonita, conservando el aire rústico de masía de pueblo. El desayuno buenísimo, con zumo de naranja natural y productos de calidad, a mejorar quizás la sección de pastas dulces. Por otro lado el personal es muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar siempre. En definitiva, hemos estado sólo dos días pero nos ha gustado mucho y seguro que repetiremos.

Solemos ir mucho por la zona del Baix Empordà. Nos hemos alojado en magníficas y excelentes Masias , pero sin duda “el Racó de Madremanya nos ha sorprendido gratamente, colocándolo en el número uno de nuestro Ranking personal.
Personal muy atentos, cercanos y amables, y una ubicación extraordinaria. El entorno ideal para desconectar. Nos alojamos en la Suite crema y disfrutamos de una exquisita cena previa reserva. Sin duda volveremos para poder disfrutar de la piscina climatizada exterior en otra época del año.

Hola pueblo encantador y el hotel es precioso, lo mejor que hemos visto mi mujer y yo, los jardines, el comedor con su terraza, las dos piscinas, y es todo de piedra, todo el hotel es medieval, el trato es de lo mejor, te esperan en la puerta para recibirte y te tratan como si fueras uno más de la familia, están muy atentos a todo lo que te haga falta, luego tienen a pepe y pepa jijiiii, una pareja de gatitos preciosos, chicos podéis dar por seguro que volveremos, pues se respira mucha paz en vuestro hotel, departe de Isa y mio, muchas gracias por todo, nos vemos un abrazo muy grande para todos family

Fantástico hotel donde el silencio y la tranquilidad es lo que predomina. Todo cuidado hasta el más mínimo detalle en todos los aspectos, habitaciones, comedor, cómodas, desayunos y amabilidad del personal. Fácil de aparcar y muchas posibilidades de dar largos paseos por la naturaleza

Ideal para ir en pareja. La suite beige es sencillamente preciosa. Desde luego es un hotel excelente para desconectar y relajarse.

Establiment ideal per passar uns dies de relax total, lluny de tot. Servei de qualitat, bons àpats (esmorzar i sopar) i sobretot, molta tranquilitat.

Molt recomanable per escapades curtes de cap de setmana llarg. Visita obligada de les poblacions properes com Begur, Pals o Peratallada. Molt a prop de Girona i de les platges de Begur.

Nous avons passé un super week-end dans cet établissement!!!! Le personnel était aux petits soins pour nous, les chambres étaient parfaites et propres, les jardins et les piscines au top. Le petit déjeuner était copieux et très bon... et puis ce calme, ce calme... un vrai plaisir! Il nous tarde déjà de revenir 😃

Uno de mis hoteles favoritos para escapada en pareja. Escondido en el pueblo de Madremanya lejos del ruido de la cuidad, con su propio jardín y huerto, el restaurante ofrece un menú elaborado y de temporada.

Perfecta estancia,lugar muy bonito tanto instalaciones exteriores como nuestra suite Crema.Cuidado todo al detalle,incluida la gastronomia.
Buena relación calidad precio,volveremos sin duda.
Estuvimos en junio,me he dado cuenta que no habia publicado la reseña y no puedo dejar de hacerlo!!

Fuimos hace dos semanas con mi pareja; disfrutamos mucho del lugar! Las instalaciones son preciosas, el silencio, la paz que se vive y la cálida atención de quienes trabajan ahí, es un verdadero placer. Recomendado al 100%!
Detalle, observación personal: el colchón de la habitación era como sentirse en las nubes, impresionante la calidad, queremos saber la marca jeje!
