Hotel Restaurant Santuari de la Salut de Sant Feliu de Pallerols

This hotel is on the top of the world with the most amazing views. A long drive up but worth it. It's very authentic, the rooms are clean and functional. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant as it's a long way to anywhere else. We had a very good meal while we sat in the panoramic dining room, a good breakfast too. Just lovely.

After hiking up from Sant Feliu de Pallerols the taste of the beer was only matched by the spectacular views of the mountains and volcanos of Garrotxa and the Pyrenees in the distance.

Wow, a beautiful spot to relax and unwind in from the hot hussle & bussle of Barcelona, only about 2hours drive away & the last section thru mountainous farm country. An old monastery, beautifully kept or restored.
The staff have all been very helpful, especially with our language barrier.
Don't expect fancy, think monastery style, simple, comfortable, clean and airy, there is no fridge or coffee machine in the room, the bed is decent, everything is clean. This is perhaps the essence of what it once was, with a wide open balcony in the shade.
The food(a set menu with choices) is tasty
Coffee from the bar is great, a selection of wines & other spirits are available, as well as cold beers. The view breathtaking & vast, with a wonderful breeze to take the edge of the 33°C(Today) heat wave the area is experiencing
Many cyclist and walkers/hikers stop in for drink along their way, the area is definitely attractive for both sports.
I highly recommend this place
PS: it came to our attention yesterday how hard and the long hours the staff worked over the public holiday, very impressive. Thank you Heidy & you colleagues for all the effort & everything you did for us, it was much appreciated by us

Pork ribs and roast lamb shoulder were some of the best I've tasted. Simple and delicious. No vegetables though!

Amazing view. Hotel amenities are basic, but view is just mind blowing. Nice personel and good restaurant. Reasonable prices for food. overall this place is a hidden gem.

I HIGHLY recommend a trip to this restaurant and a walk to the spectacular Rocas Encantadas after. I can’t remember having a meal with my wife that had us groaning with pleasure like this. The Amanida Vermella was an unusual but tasty combination of red fruits and veggies, including tomatoes and strawberries dressed with a herbed cherry sauce. Espatlla de Xai or lamb back was slow-cooked for 8 hours with the resulting meat succulent and rich. Complemented by a savory and sweet sauce and a garnish of potato slices, it was sinful. This was topped off with a homemade flan that will haunt me any time I try to eat a supermarket pot from my fridge.

I strongly encourage you to try lunch and then take the trail to the Rocas Encantadas. A flat ~30 min walk through idyllic forest to a truly magnificent rock formation steeped in mythology.

Nice place for them who likes silence and a good view. Some of the employees speak English. Nearest from this place are good trails for walking.

I cannot recommend it enough... Typical local cuisine with wide and varied menu for everybody...
