Although there are many negative recommendations on Google for Goldcar, I had a excelent experience with this car rental company. I made the reservation online and when I arrived at the airport everything went ok. The employee from the office who took care of the documents and explained what I have to pay. There were no exaggerated or hidden costs, I only had a guarantee for fuel, money that I received back the day after I returned the car.

I like how easy, cheap and fast they are.😍 It was awesome. We had a new model of FIAT 500 with all insurance coverage and unlimited kilometres for only 420€/10days. Love it!

This was my second time renting from Goldcar. The first time was many years ago and I wasn't too impressed. However, on this occasion I must say I am extremely satisfied with their service and the brand-new fully equipped car I rented (Ford Puma ST-Line).

Pick-up and return was easy and fast.

Unbeatable prices. 118€ for 14 days.
No extra/hidden costs/charges. The car was fully covered with insurance from my credit card, so no need to purchase any additional insurance. In fact, they didn't even offer it or pressure me to purchase it once I told them I was already covered with my card.

Deposit was returned the same day on my card.

I don't know about you, but my family and I booked a 2020 Peugeot 208 car for 6 days for only 31 euros in total. The car was brand new with very few kilometers. We had made the reservation online, at the airport for 10 minutes we filled out the forms and nobody asked for additional insurance, except for the guarantee that is kept from the card, 1500 euros, we took the car to the parking and started our journey. After we delivered the car after 6 days, the inspection was done by the company and the car was in the same condition that we had received it. I suggest this company and their very economical prices to everyone.
I just hope that the guarantee money has been transferred to the credit card 🤪😜😜

Booked car for 5 days with full cover. Whole process was seamless from start to finish. Pick up & drop off with no delays or issues. Note: the return of the fuel deposit can take up to 30 days. I had mine back in a week.

Despite many negative reviews,
i had a good experience with the gold car. There was a problem with booking application (drivers license was uploaded, but upload for passport didn’t work), so gold car employees resolved this at outdoor airport office very quickly. Second problem was at the airport “car key machine” where you have to pay fuel deposit (my reservation code was declined). Employees at gold car airport desk, also resolved that immediately.

Very helpful, patient and friendly staff, reasonable quality and price ratio. Reasonable deposition/payment arrangement. Had full coverage and did not have to worry about anything!

I had no issues, the car was spot on. I booked through the goldcar site and didn´t get any extra or hidden charges. I´d use again.

We appreciated the free upgrade since the customer service rep noticed we had booked a tiny car for our long road trip. The car was overall clean and comfy so we were happy with the car.

I see the 1 star reviews here... Well guys if u don't pay for full insurance u have to pay for damages... I paid for insurance more than for a car but it was still cheap... Paid some money for diesel cover if I don't bring the car full...all money was returned to me... My experience at the desk... Brilliant... I was looked after the girl... Forgot her name... She asked me if I can rate experience with her service... She was brilliant... If I was the owner I would give her pay rise... Not like a girl beside her who just barked at me saying to get a ticket to join the q...

Barcelona airport office is great! BUT we always book directly by Goldcar and take the full Inssurance from them.
NEVER had any issues with them, and the prices are great.

The ease of the Key and Go service is exceptional . I travel to Barcelona regularly . I can be off plane and in car within half an hour , it's a miracle
My only beef with Gold Car is their arrogant and quite often blatantly rude attitude of their staff
For example on a previous trip earlier this year , I booked a car late , the day before I travelled . As I travel
alone with very little luggage I only need a small handy car ,hence I always book a Fiat 500.
On arriving at their office they sorted my paperwork and I went to find my car .
It was an ancient old Fiat , it had scratches and dents and inside stank of cigarettes . I returned to the office and demanded another vehicle .
The employee assured me it was the only car available and that if I wanted something better I shouldn't have been such a cheap skate ordering a cheap car !
He said this in front of another lady customer, we were both mortified
She kindly gave me the number of an alternative rental company . So I went home to LlaFranc and had a lovely 😎lunch

Great service and car for a very good price. Just take the all in package. You can pickup the car and drive away. Everything is covered and in the end just drop you keys and all is done.

Fox was the provider, and it was very good experience, lady at the Barcelona airport office was kind and helpful. Overall a good experience, will rent with them again.
