"Rabo de toro", "Venado en salsa", "Croquetas de puchero", homemade real touch in a classical "Venta" formerly in the main Road to the capital city, Madrid.
Now a hidden (and well known) gem.

Great place, the food comes in big portions, great service and typical Andalusian venta.

Arrived 15 mins before kitchen opened so had a drink in the bar.

Despite being open from the 60's the place still looks good and has a nice country charm about it.

There was a 15 euro menu del dia (12 euro except Sunday) option or a la carte. I went for the Braise prok/Chorizo/friied egg/ Jamon with chips.

Really good quality food. Service was great.

The only problem was the bread was so fresh and the 12 year old sherry viniagre so nice I part stuffed myself before the mains came and i needed to doggy bag it. Incidentally you can by a bottle of the Jerez vinegar in the front bar.

I will defo be coming back here again as the scran is beltin!

Traditional Alcornacales Andalusian fayre and a wood range. Found just on the original road from Los Barrios to Jerez, this superb family run restaurant is also a favorite stop off for hikers, road and mountain cyclists and bird watchers, alike, for a great coffee, authentic local jamon, cheese and tapas or a perfectly, real fire, cooked main meal. I would guarantee you will somehow agree.

Surprisingly good attention and food! Very nice and roomy inside. A bit out of the way but well worth it!

I've been coming here for at least 25 years. After being away for several years it is great to sit down to great service and a quality continental breakfast.

No es la primera vez que voy, suelo ir de vez en cuando por su tarta de queso, que hasta ahora es la mejor que he probado, con diferencia. Normalmente pedimos de carta pero hoy hemos querido probar el menú y nos ha sorprendido gratamente. A un precio muy asequible de 15 € e incluía bebida y postre.
Uno de los platos que hemos pedido en el menú eran chicharrones con patatas fritas y huevos, tengo que decir que me he enamorado de los chicharrones del Frenazo😍 Ahora mismo están en el primer puesto de los mejores chicharrones.
El servicio maravilloso, muy atentos. Las instalaciones limpias y cuidadas. Algo que para mí es muy importante. Ya que si veo algo que no me agrada no como agusto.

Excelente todo: barra, tienda, salón comedor con decoración de divisas taurinas y la carta. Precios adecuados. Servicio rápido y agradable. Tomé solomillo de ternera, en su punto y carne de categoría.
