Restaurant Chulvi

There are some dishes which truly show if someone can cook. In every southern Spain restaurant, it’s rice with veggies -calling it a paella is already a red flag- mostly because it’s much harder to make than a standard one, where lots of flavor comes from meat fat. In “Chulvi” the veggie rice test is passed - not only it’s named correctly, but it’s absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked, resting on a crispy socarrat, not too greasy, not too salty, featuring ideal amount of veggies - the list goes on. The service was professional and polite, and the views - lovely, overlooking Playa de la Concha. To top it all off, the prices were surprisingly reasonable, making “Chulvi” the place to go if you’re in the area and in the mood for rice.

We had the vegan paella - Arroz de Huerta. I've never had such a lovely paella and I never knew vegan paella could taste so good. There were artichokes, mushrooms, peppers and many more. The waiter who served us was very attentive and also very quick.

The best paella in Oropesa del Mar! You should try mejillones al vapor and pan tostado con tomate y alioli as well. I am attaching a photo of the menu, hope it is helpful. Overall, very good service and delicious food!

Le restaurant Chulvi est une excellente option pour manger sur le front de mer. On y trouve d'excellents plats à base de poissons frais. La carte est bien fournie et il est possible d'y manger bien pour pas trop cher vu sa situation face à la mer.
Il vaut mieux bien regarder la carte et y faire son choix car il m'est arrivé de me laisser "embobiner" par un serveur trop zélé et me retrouver face a un repas pantagruélique (c'est vraiment un cas isolé, le service est le plus souvent impeccable).
Je mettrais un bémol sur la paella qui n'est pas de qualité égale, peut-être se sont-ils améliorés sur ce point c'est bien possible vu que je n'en commande plus ici.
Un des plus anciens et plus agréable lieu pour un repas seul, à deux, en famille ou entre amis.

Arroz meloso de carabineros espectacular, la terraza con las vistas un lujo y si además te atiende Emmanuel el éxito está asegurado. Para repetir y para aconsejar.

Sitio bonito con unas vistas preciosas de la playa de la Concha. Menú extraordinario con producto de alta calidad. La lubina a la espalda estaba espectacular. Los primeros también muy buenos así como los postres. Absolutamente recomendable.
