Beautiful park. No entry fee or anything, just stroll up! We did a hike that took about 5 hours total with plenty of breaks.

Located in the heart of the Pyrenees in the region of Huesca, this park is where the Atlantic and Mediterranean ecosystems meet. The park contains three mountains and four valleys, including the valley of Ordesa and the Monte Perdido mountain, from which the park gets its name. Hiking through the park in both winter and summer, visitors can take in a wide variety of grand landscapes, as well as abundant flora and fauna.

Beautiful national park with great views and hiking. Not too busy when we visited and the weather was perfect! Note that a bus from Torla is required for access in the summer.

Lot of hikes of all levels, all the way to mountaineering treks to Monte Perdido or through the border to the Cirque de Gavarnie.
Breathtaking views throughout the hikes.
Note the 2€ parking fee.

Unbelievable scenery! We went in July, at which time you have to park in Torla and take the bus (two way ticket 5 euro) into the park. The bus goes 4 times an hour (before 8 am it is less frequent) and drops you off at the starting point of the park in approx 10 minutes. We did the Cola de Caballo hike, which is really pretty. With 2 kids (10 and 11) it took us about 6 hours and 15 minutes (stops included) which is a little longer than the listing.

The national park is absolutely spectacular. The views are breathtaking.

Access to the park is done from Torla where there is a huge parking lot where you can leave your car and it is free. In front of the parking there is the buss station and ticket office. The busses come regularly and the ride takes about 20 minutes. Access with the car has been banned for obvious reasons.

Everything is very well organized and you will get a map as well. The paths are very well marked and maintained.

The park itself is indescribably beautiful with cristal clear streams, waterfalls and breathtaking views.

Depending on the path you take it cat take a while so start early in the morning and bring plenty of water with you.

If you are in the area you should not miss it.

Beautiful place to visit, the hike is uphill , about 1 hr to cascado de estercho. Take the bus at visitor center , cost was 5 euro per person. Don't forget to take water and snack.

Such a beautiful, unspoilt part of Spain. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. The little villages set among the majestic pyrenees mountains really do have an unmistakable Austrian vibe.

We used a local company that runs morning or afternoon tours to see the most popular viewpoints and walk some of the shorter paths. The English speaking driver explained all about the other ways to see the park and we had a great time.
The valley is awesome with some fantastic views and hiking trails, which can be reached by walking directly from Torla or by taking a bus up into the car parking area to begin from there.
There was another bus that took walkers up to a start point, which allowed them to walk Monte Perdido and returned to pick them up in the afternoon.

Awsome hiking destiny: Bujaruelo, Ordesa, visiting the villages like Broto, Torla.
It is a must if you enjoy mountains and nature

One of the Pyrenees' great national parks. Awesome hiking. Access by shuttle bus.

First a 9 km offroad trail needs to be followed (this can de completed with non 4x4 vehicles as well), to come to the starting point, where your car can be parked at the side of trail, this is the end of the trail where there is a small roundabout for easy returning. From here you require continuing on foot, the area is breathtaking and the path is not so difficult, but it is mandatory keeping at least 10 metres distance from the wild roaming cattle, also dogs require being leashed at all times. A entrance fee is not applied.

The Ordesa Canyon is an absolutely stunning place to visit. The wide glacier valley offers some fantastic scenery with steep cliffs and many waterfalls. The many hiking trails lead one to every point of the valley and connect the canyon to many nearby points of interest such as Breche de Roland and the Refuge de Goriz. Reachable by foot from the Saint Nicolas de Bujaruelo (1:30h) and with the bus from Torla. Do not miss it!

Beautiful place to walk and enjoy nature. The path is accessible, but it's a constant slope. You can combine two routes, like we did, to walk it with a small child. It's quite hot, so don't wear too much.

Nice views, beautiful waterfalls and rocky rivers. Also ideal for a dog. There are no facilities at the parking place (maybe in summer?), so take water and food with you. It's a good spot to have lunch.

Paradise at the heights of the Pyrenees would be probably not too different than this astonishing place where you can enjoy silence, peace and the immense beauty of nature

Breathtaking national park, we’ll worth a visit and a few hikes. Beautiful and varied scenery. Better to go on weekdays when crows aren’t invading the place.

The Ordesa Valley is a glacial valley in Aragon, in the Spanish Pyrenees which forms part of the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park. It was first discovered in 1820, but not mapped in detail until approximately the 1920s.[1] The valley is about 11 kilometres (7 mi) long.[1]
The valley's east–west orientation, unusual in the Pyrenees, opens it to influence from the Atlantic Ocean and gives it a moderate climate. It has one of Europe's largest populations of the Pyrenean Chamois and is well known for its waterfalls and wildlife.
Monte Perdido (3,355 m) is the third highest mountain in the Pyrenees and together with Cilindro de Marboré (3,328 m) and Soum de Ramond (3,263 m) can be seen at the north-east end of the valley. The name Monte Perdido (lost mountain) was given because the peak could not be seen from the French side of the range.

The place is fantastic for a day with the family. Our youngest is 11 years old, she was able to do the whole trip, approximately 20 km. The bus service is on point, try to get there early and calculate good time to find parking. We were on the bus at 10;30, and we were the last ones to get on.
