Amazing find when we finished our hiking 🥾 and coming down in the village. Staff speak English. Food was absolutely delicious 😋! Service was excellent with big smiles and beautiful views of the mountains. Highly recommended!!!

We stopped here after a hike and the food was amazing! It’s only a waiter and you need to wait a little bit until you will receive your order, but the food is delicious! I really recommend this place!

Such great Spanish food! Very fresh and flavorful! Also good options for vegetarians…I had the chicken skewer and it was really juicy and nicely grilled!

We stumbled across this adorable restaurant/bar when completing our hiking trail loop - Cahorros Rio Monachil. The staff is very friendly and the views of the Sierra Nevada from the terrace are lovely. We only had beer (Victoria Malaga =!husband loved) and wine and the complimentary tortilla espanola. I saw dishes that looked wonderful.

You have to reserve on Friday, Saturday and Sunday because they have live music sessions. I first went 30 years ago. There food is simple and delicious and so are their prices. There is indoor and outdoor seating. They have a lovely view from their terrace up and down the valley. Sunsets are superb. I would definitely recommend them.

Impressive amount of vegetarian options (which I often find lacking in this region), although there are plenty of other options as well. Service is good, interior is tasteful, their coffee is one of the best I've had in Andalusia and the food was delicious.

The views over the mountains are worthwile and the restaurant is conveniently located at the start of a few walking tracks. It is not the cheapest place, but the portion sizes make up for that.

The restaurant is located on a touristic spot towards the Monachil gorges. The food is splendid - steaks, fillets - all we ordered was good. We waited a bit more than usual, probably because it was overcrowded. However, the impression is great. The prices are moderate, not cheap, but not too expensive either.

We were so happy to find this welcoming and homely place after a long day’s walking - we had garlic chicken, and croquettes, both of which were delicious. Thoroughly recommend!

Picked it because it was close, but the food was very good and affordable, the service was friendly, and the patio views are fantastic. Highly recommended.

Had the daily set menu with the estafado and lomo con salsa with a drink and dessert for only €10. Could not fault the food - very comforting and packed with flavor. Home-style cooking at its best!

My girlfriend had the oxtail (rabo del toro) which was falling off the bone and had a lovely, rich flavor.

Highly recommend to all those either about to embark or coming back from a day of hiking!
