It is a beautiful castle with amazing views. The rooms are spacious and full of ameneties. The food is exquisite and staff are so amazing and helpful. This is what all hotels should aspire to be like. Each room takes you back through hundreds of years of history. Truly a once in a lifetime experience.

A memorable experience, to spend the night in a beautifully preserved castle with amazing views over the surrounding town and countryside

We have visited about 50 Paradores, many of them in historic buildings. But it is fair to say that the Parador at Siguenza is the best of all the Castle-Paradores.

The building itself is just stunning, it has been very well converted, and the maintenance is outstanding. Full marks to the housekeeping and maintenance teams, who keep it in perfect condition.

We booked a Superior room, and were delighted with our choice, as we had a large balcony with beautiful far-reaching views, as well as a very spacious, almost palatial, room itself. The room and the bathroom were spotless.

The evening meal was excellent (and sadly, there are Paradores where one cannot say that), as was the breakfast. The town is small enough for you to be able to walk down to the main sights, especially the magnificent cathedral, which is a must-see in Siguenza.

The only negative was entirely our own fault. We took a wrong turn through town and ended up in a maze of tiny narrow streets in the Old Town where we expected to lose our side mirrors at any moment as we crept forward at walking pace. The Reception staff were very helpful in showing us an easy-peasy route away from the Parador and out of town, and teaching us how to get back to the Parador in a less stressful way, next time!

The staff were professional and helpful

Wow, what an amazing place! It has a kettle in the room, the first we've seen in Spain, didn't even have one in Parador de Salamanca, where we stayed last night. We were delighted just about that, let alone everything else!

I booked a room with an extra large bed, and it's actually a four poster bed, which is lovely. I'm not sure why a bed with 4 poles at the side and a canvas roof is extra fun, but it really is 😊 And in the bathroom there's a huge jacuzzi bath, room for two, so that's where we've been for the last hour, with a cup of tea from the kettle, the first in five days ☕

Also amazing views from our window, and such a stunning building. The only negative is no black / breakfast tea, which is what we drink in Wales, only green tea and camomile, bleuurgh! Luckily I brought a tupperware of Tetley teabags, and got some milk from the Dia supermarket at the bottom of town, so it's all good.

A*, I wish we'd booked two nights 💜

Nicely restored historic castle. Well run, clean excellent rooms. Loved our stay there. My only gripe is they wouldn’t let us on the battlements. Menu not very vegetarian friendly.

So fun to eat inside a castle! The service was very friendly and attentive. Totally recommend if visiting the city for the day. Very limited menu, I world recommend this place for drinks. The cheese and meat platter was great.

We have been to 15 paradores now. This is up there with the very best paradores we have been to. The building is fantastic. It’s a very luxurious parador. Very well laid out. It has its own chapel. Our room was lovely - the bed was enormous! We really enjoyed our stay. The minor room for improvement is the check in and check out. It’s a very busy hotel and they need more staff. We had to wait 20 minutes to check in and out.

What a privilege to stay in a castle! So good this one was rebuilt in the 70’s and is now operated as a Parador. It’s nice inside but not wonderful and the rooms are a bit tired and could do with some refurbishment. However it’s a grand place and eating in the restaurant and the cafe you can’t help but wonder who else has been there since it was built in the 12th century! 900 years of history and a great place to sit and reflect.
Food is same high quality as most Paradors. Try the artichokes!

Drive up a tiny road right up to the castle where you will find parking. The parador is NOT handicap accessible. You will need to carry your luggage up a short flight of steps. Staff is absolute lovely. Restaurant available inside. Rooms are large and comfortable (modern). Would absolutely recommend.

This is like being in a fairytale. The Castle is magnificent and restored with so much care and attention to detail. There is a parador inside the grounds and some areas are only accessible to guests. Regardless, it is a fine example of a medieval Castle - very memorable.

Great place to visit and stay. The best staff and service. Food is excellent. Breakfast is a must. The castle is extensively renovated sympathetically and sensibly to keep it in use as a national treasure. It is definetly worth the effort of traveling to. Extensive and convenient parking.

Outstanding place, a stout Castle dotted with history and exquisite reminders of what it used be in every corner of the building. Excellent food and rooms, very attentive staff and the place itself guarantee an experience not easy to find elsewhere.

An incredible experience. It's like a journey to the past felling like a knight sleeping in a castle but with all facilities of nowadays. Your kids will enjoy the visit as much as you. The city of Sigüenza is magic itself. So many centuries of history in such a beautiful city

Stay in a genuine Medieval castle! These days, you don't have to shoot arrows from your narrow windows or pour boiling oil on invaders. You can wander the expansive property and marvel at the ancient architecture. The restaurant serves the highest quality of authentic local fare. If you're driving between Madrid and Barcelona, there's nowhere else to stay.

I got married 20 years ago at this Parador. Came back to celebrate it with all thee family. As good as it has always been. Such a great experience.
Marcos at the reception desk gave us a tour bc we told him we married here and our boys wanted to see the halls and all the rest. This guy knew all the story of the castle. A must do if you come to this Parador.
Then we found a champagne bottle chilling in our room. Marcos, you are the best.

I give 5 stars as the Parador seems to be awesome but WATCH OUT, it's a hotel. Not a castle you can visit or do tourism in.

As a symbol of Sigüenza, most people think it's for visiting...

A wonderful parador, we had ,as usual in a parador hotel, very good service. A very warm welcome from the reception desk, nice evening snack in cafeteria and lovely attention at breakfast.
A very nice room with balcony

Amazing setting, and covid-19 protocol is superb. Everything sanitized in the room, and everyone had individual utensils to take food at breakfast.
