Barceló Monasterio de Boltaña

We stay at the Monasterio Boltana Hotel every year as we Group travel through the Pyrenees. This Hotel is great. The rooms are comfortable, luxury, spacious and clean. The a la carte restaurant serves great food! Diner and breakfast are really good. Very professional staff and the hotel always makes a great impression on my guests. So thank you very much and see you next year!

Lovely 17th century monastery converted into a nice hotel. Restaurant is fine dining which means small portions but very tasty. Dinner seating (8:30) should be earlier. Beautiful area is great for exploring and hiking.

One of the loveliest and most friendly hotels we've ever visited.

Lovely hotel, great service, highly recommended. We stayed here for our honeymoon and had an amazing time. The location is superb, lots of hiking spots nearby and adorable 18th century towns. The hotel had a really great outdoor pool that was very cold and refreshing. The spa was also really great, though I feel like an hour just isn't long enough. I recommend going for half board, the value for money was amazing.

I spent a few nights here over Christmas with my partner. We had a wonderful long weekend. The hotel itself is beautiful and the location is a great starting point for lots of excursions to the towns and national parks in the region.
All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and my partner (who is vegetarian and gluten intolerant) was very happy with the different options provided in the restaurant.
The room was spacious and very comfortable.
I would happily return in the summer to experience the hotel (especially the pool) and the region in a different climate.

Very nice hotel. We stayed in the main building which used to be a monastery. Although there was a heat wave going on, the think walled and air-conditioning kept everything cool. There is also a nice pool with ample space around.
If you don't mind to drive a little bit, is a good starting point to go hiking in the Pyrenees.

Beautiful building and grounds! The staff was friendly and spoke English proficiently, as I speak Spanish very poorly. The water spa is basically an adult version of a kids water park (I mean that in a truly positive way). We will definitely return.

This hotel was a monastery built in the 17th century. It was renovated to a beautiful hotel. It has 96 rooms and fully equipped villas. It has a fitness center, an outdoor swimming pool, spa, restaurant and so much more. As well as a 17th century church.

My husband and I stood here for 7 days. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. They spoke Spanish and English. The hotel was well kept and finely decorated. We reserved a villa. It was not luxurious, but it was very clean. Housekeeping came every morning.

We reserved a meal package which included breakfast and dinner. They served the same breakfast (buffet style) every day except for the veggies. I love the coffee latte. ☕ The dinner, though, was different each day. The restaurant staff was very friendly.

Overall, Monesterio de Boltaña is a wonderful place to experience a monastery and the surrounding mountains and towns.

The hotel is wonderful ! I spent two nights and used the SPA. Beds are super comfortable , and the place is very quite and silent ; so it is the perfect place to rest and recharge the batteries. I really recommend to explore the monastery! There is a real (hidden) church inside , and many pieces of art ! Negative: You can only stay 1hr in the SPA . Which is not very nice , especially because time should not really exist inside a SPA. Additionally , please use reusable plastic cups ! It’s a such a shame that all that plastic is produced within the SPA. However , the hotel is a very special one ! I recommend

Romantic, nicely decorated, beautiful location, historic, with great views, and an excellent service!! The spa is awesome, really relaxing, and never too crowded (they keep an eye on that). The hotel is located close to great hiking locations. We stayed both in the villas and the hotel and loved both
