Decided to spend a night here with my family on my way to Madrid. What a great choice! Beautiful place, great service, fantastic breakfast and dinner, and very comfortable rooms. They made us feel very welcome.

An old castle in the town converted into a super nice place with accomodations and a restaurant. You feel like a noble lord or lady during the stay. The food is excellent, too.

Had a wonderful stay here. The owner and his dad spent 11 years renovating the old palace, hope to go from 5 - 12 rooms in time. Great rain shower and body jets with good water pressure, comfy bed and superb breakfast with eggs your way. Parking inside the gates. I cannot recommend them highly enough for their attention to detail.

Excellent friendly restaurant in a lovely hotel. Excellent wine list, though we have now polished off the ancient Tondonia. Steak has been a good choice on three visits as has the lamb and pork. 2022 visit was even better, with an updated menu now including a tomahawk steak option (share between two, or maybe three) with an interesting twist that I will keep secret. Book the restaurant ahead for earlier mealtimes and to check the restaurant is open. Great value at 40 euros each plus good value wines (try the Valenciso Reserva 2014) . Lovely decor.

The key word in the name of this hotel is undoubtedly "Palacio". The building dating back to 16th century is gorgeous, particularly from inside. We stayed there for one night and our only regret is that we didn't organize our trip to stay there longer. Unfortunately, we did't have chance to eat at the hotel's restaurant since it was closed on the day we were there.

Everything inside the room was thoughtfully and beautifully arranged, breakfast prepared by the hostess was delicious, parking was plentiful, the location, 11 minutes drive from Haro, was pretty convenient.

The hotel is owned and run by a couple and their son. The son speaks pretty good English but the tour of the hotel was given to us by his father, who masterfully used Google Translate in conversation mode. This was pretty impressive.

Excellent food, the Cochinillo melts in the mouth and is a must have. Service was good. Price was very reasonable and cheaper than I expected. This was my 3rd visit and I would happily go again, without hesitation.

An absolutely wonderful Inn. Only 4 rooms in this spacious, gorgeous Manor House. Stunning architecture and history go hand-in-hand here. It's the ultimate romantic spot. Only 6km's from Haro, and it's truly a breathtaking place. The owner and his wife are equally wonderful. Even with our limited english/spanish abilities, they were so gracious and accommodating, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We were given a personal tour and a history of the palacio.

As for the on-site restaurant, I was a little hesitant. I thought " In this tiny little village, the food can't be very good". Boy was I WRONG! I would argue the meal we had at the restaurant was the best we had in Rioja. It was simply fabulous. The owner is a former restauranteur. He must have stolen a top-notch chef from wherever, because the meal was fantastic. Beautifully prepared, wonderful sauces, and presented like a Michelin starred restaurant. I allowed the owner to choose a wine for us and he picked a wonderful, yet very affordable Rioja which paired very well with our meal.

I cannot say enough about this Palacio and its owners except to say I am sorry we were only able to stay one night. I will definitely be back there again for a longer stay!

Best accomodation in Rioja. Beautifully restored old villa, with immaculate attention to details. Best breakfast ever, over 5 continents. Excellent value for money. Wonderful hosts. Limited english, but he has Google translate.... so funny and clever! Will plan to be back and have my wedding reunion here - one day. 10 minutes from most places, but must have car.

Incredible accommodation and uber-excellent hosts. Close enough to Haro but secluded. We will be returning to this excellent place soon
