Hello dear Xabier Hotel,

I really enjoy the spirit of your familie Hotel, for it was something special my first contact with spanish people, so lovely.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hidden gem of a family-owned hotel, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I stepped foot into the hotel, I was greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality.

The hotel's unique charm and character instantly won me over. The rooms were tastefully decorated, clean, and comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after a long day of exploring the city. The attention to detail in the room decor and amenities truly showcased the family's dedication to creating a memorable experience for their guests.

For me a very special thank to Aurora, she tells me the best place to visit arround in the area, you have to ask this beautiful and polite woman where you can go.

What truly set this hotel apart was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to go the extra mile to ensure my stay was perfect. From arranging transportation to offering personalized recommendations for local attractions, their knowledge and genuine care made me feel like a valued guest.

A big compliment to Santiago, a good fact he is the best north spain somelier and also one really charming and nice guy. I really enjoy the good talking with him, he supported me on my travel, i really find a friend. Always helpfull and give me good advice and restaurant tips.

The hotel's location was another highlight. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, it offered a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Yet, it was still conveniently located near public transportation, making it easy to explore all the popular tourist spots.

I want also thank all waiters with their happienes and calmnes, espescially Cristina. Thank you for your amazing job.

Although the hotel didn't have an on-site restaurant, the staff was more than happy to recommend nearby dining options that showcased the local cuisine. I thoroughly enjoyed trying out these recommendations and was never disappointed.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend this family-owned hotel to anyone seeking a unique and memorable stay. The personalized service, charming ambiance, and convenient location make it a true hidden gem. I can't wait to return and create more wonderful memories at this exceptional hotel!

We stayed here on the 7/8th June with friends on a motorbike tour of Spain.
Fabulous location with absolute stunning views .
Very peaceful
Rooms were pretty basic but had everything you needed , very creaky floorboards that would wake anybody up but added to its character. Very clean and tidy
Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We went there for lunch and I would say the restaurant is one of the best in Pamplona. The foods were great tasty and well cooked. The staff are really nice and friendly. I definitely recommend this place.

Wow what a place. I’ve traveled the world a good amount, never have I had the immense pleasure of enjoying dinner and breakfast while looking at a castle.... with a backdrop of spectacular mountains. The food comes with a price but well worth it. The quality, the quantity, and flavor are all superb. The hotel staff is friendly, accommodating and kind. The hotel rooms tend to be slightly out of date, however it quite adds to the charm of this unique, one of a kind, probably only location like it, restaurant and hotel.

The room is very clean. Location is within 3 minutes walk to St. Francis Xavier castle.
The food is so delicious and the staff is very helpful.

Having once stayed nearly a month at this lovely rustic hotel - situated in the grounds of a prime historic and spiritual attraction of Spain - and having enjoyed the agreeable service of its staff and owners: we were glad for this opportunity to return to a place of fond memory.
On this occason we came for lunch. And what an excuisite lunch it turned out be.
Leaving the qualities of the hotel to its own good reputation, this review is to rave about the rich culinary experiences lurking in the restaurant.
On a budget today we asked for the 'menú del dia' (20 Euros each + drinks). Ordered a bottle of house red wine, another of sparkling wáter. The wine was from a nearby vinyard: good nose and body, with the sort of tartness that can accompany rich food; perhaps better so than on its own.
From the strters my wife ordered coquettes filled with cod and criss-crossed with stripes of modena. I had vol-u-vans of gambas and spinach. We switched plates part way through, so we could each enjoy both. They both were really good, but we agreed the vol-u-van won by a little. (note, there were at least five more starters on the menú we could have chosen from).
For the second course we each had the entrecote, rare. Not unusual for entrecote to be a main course option on upscale fixed price menus, but, maybe to eonomise it is cut thin, a bit tough and tasteless.
This entrecote was none of those: it was thicker than we expected, tander, and most importantly: tasty. It took up most of the large plates, leaving a little room for oven bowned potatoes and a mxed pimiento and wild green garnish.
It was so much we had to ask if we could take some of it home with us. As usual the staff were accommodating.
Desert was a tour de forcé. The best cheescake we had tasted since Philadelphia on our American tip. With a scoop of vanela icecream beside the wedge of chesecake. Never had this combination. Hope never not to in future.
I can name four good restaurants in Navarra. Hotel Restaurnte Xabvier is the best of them.

Fabulous food. Locally owned. Fantastic presentation, quality, local ingredients and affordable prices. Fabulous wine accompanies.

Es un hotel muy antiguo. Los efectos del paso del tiempo se compensan con el trato y la atención del personal y el entorno ya que está ubicado justo frente al Castillo de Javier. A tener en cuenta que era un día laborable del mes de octubre, por lo que el sitio era un remanso de paz.

Es la segunda vez que venimos.
Un lugar tranquilo; trato muy amable y familiar, estás como en casa; comida excelente; todo muy limpio.
Es un hotel rústico, sencillo y bien acondicionado. Está situado en un paraje natural e histórico, con unas vistas maravillosas.

El restaurante está enclavado en un lugar privilegiado. Se trata de un local de comida tradicional con toques de innovación , muy recomendable. El servicio impecable.

Comida casera y buena. Habitaciones funcionales. Amabilidad de todo el personal. Alejado de poblacion pero justo frente al castillo de Javier

Lugar familiar, sencillo, sin grandes lujos y en un entorno maravilloso.
Ideal para familias y amigos. Cocina tradicional buenísima, muchas gracias!

Ottimo ristorante con tavoli interni su area climatizzata e veranda esterna, entrambe con vista sul castello. Locale pulito, ordinato, ben arredato.. Piatti tipici di buona qualità. Servizio impeccabile. Corretto il conto.

Restaurante 100% recomendable 💯.
Ambiente familiar, con una gran atención por parte de todo el personal y comida exquisita.
