Cabo Vidío

autumn 2023 with two different weather ☁🌡 conditions. The north coast of Spain is definitely one of my favourite part's in the world...endles opportunities to enjoy a untouched and wild coastline scenery.

What a landscape! Must see location!

You can reach it by car following one of the many Oviñana unnamed streets.

Even on cloudy ☁ days this place let you feel the power of ocean and embrace the strength of nature.

Then you have the lighthouse . It very bad keept. It is shame for the beauty of the landscape, with broken windows, dirty walls and corroded iron. Even more, for some reason someone give the permission to open a small bar inside the walls. The problem is, it is built in a container and get electricity from a near generator set which made lot of noise and smoke ruining silence and beauty of the natural environment.

That's said, you can not use this as a excuse to not visit Cabo Vidio!

If you want to eat or drink something I suggest you to walk a few meters away and try the food truck "La Soluneta". From there you can listen country music while seeing the astonishing ocean sitting on hay seats.

Just near the lighthouse there is a picnic area with tables, but if you have any kids just pay attention to them while they are playing since they could easily fall on the road around the lighthouse.

Don't miss this spot, crazy beautiful views of this rugged beauty. Photos don't do it justice.

Amazing views and nice place to walk around with friends or family.

It's a beautiful place, be it day or night. It gives you the opportunity to see a big part of the northern cost. And if you're interested in doing some exercise, like walking, while enjoying this beautiful views,it can be done.

Вид на океан потрясающий! Есть пешая тропа длиной 1,5 км, она идет вдоль океана по краю скалы. В конце тропы находится небольшая смотровая площадка со столами, где можно устроить пикник. Маяк в воскресенье был закрыт, но можно изучить информацию о нем на стене. Есть несколько зон для парковки, людей немного.
