Consolación

Absolutely 100% the most beautiful location & hotel. It was a heaven. The only comment is that the cube room absolutely needs 'updating' as it's extremely 'worn and torn' and the floors could be cleaned much better. I think it's a fair comment that should be made but everything else from the service to the beauty to the delicious food and the little extras and focus on detail earns 5 stars and we will be back as soon as possible.

We’ve had a marvelous stay yesterday. Kindly welcomed by Marta at her first day at the job, and by Gloria, the Hotel Manager, who upgraded our booking to a Cube for us to enjoy a better experience. Thanks so much Gloria! 🥰

The Cube certainly provides with an inmersive atmosphere. It’s your own luxurious cottage inside a nice forest, in the Matarranya zone, which is one of the most beatiful landscapes of the western Mediterranean, close to the Priorat wine region and nearby beaches.

The forest is of outstanding beauty: pines, different oak species and aromatic natural herbs like thyme, and it smells so good!

We had a in rock tube -in the Cube, by a fireplace ready to fire if you fancy, and by a big french window with forest views, looking to south west, in case you want to spoilt yourself with those luxuries.

We rested, after a walk around the nearest town of Mont-roig, very beatiful, at what they call the garage in the Consolacion -magnificently restored as a unique hotel, in front of a fire of cyphrus and olive tree wood. What a relaxing smell!

We had dinner of tasteful local products later, with highly recomended local wines. We could not taste the Tel.luric local wine as there was not any bottle left, but offered another choice in the region, highly rated, that was a perfect alternative. We hope next time we find some left.

After dinner and during the night we enjoyed a clear and clean sky, full of starts: the milky way looked gorgeus as the moon was due late.

In my opinion, one of our best hotel stays.

At the morning we enjoyed a good breakfast, with the quality of local products: a yummy taste of Tel.luric olive oil, of which we bought a bottle, and an ample tea selection, to gather energy for the next travel destinations following Gloria’s recommendations -She is an expert conoisseur and I recommend follow her advise, to better know and profit our Matarranya’s escape: a must include joy!

Amazing place! We stayed 2 nights in one of the cubicle, enjoyed the swimming pool, the food while exploring the region. Special recommandation for the bathtub dug in the floor with the view on nature! I strongly recommend this place for a lovely couples retreat

location is GREAT!!! we went to the restaurant for dinner and the others got the menu degustacion and it was so good. there are no vegetarian options in the menu but they can change their dishes and serve them without meat or fish. however, it is obviously not the same as if they already had any dish thought to be vegetarian.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch here during the Streetgasm Rally 2017. The staff prepared lovely food for the hungry and tired participants. The location is absolutely stunning! In the middle of the Spanish countryside you find this oasis of tranquility. Old meets new in regard of style and design. I hope to spend a couple of nights here someday. Hidden gem!

Marvelous:
Quiet, tasteful, good and very friendly welcome/hospitality, very excellent breakfast, very nice room (Barocco), plenty to walk, chairs and lounges everywhere, nice swimmingpool, very good beds, large towels, your own church!, family of ciervol (deer) around you, etc. etc.

To be improved:
Earlier opening and cleaning of the swimmingpool, better chairs in the (Barocco)room, less minimal diningroom (the chairs did not have a backrest).

Rooms are unique and very special. Staying in a kube is an awesome experience!!! Will repeat!

Allotjament únic i extremadament recomanable. Un lloc per desconnectar i relaxar-se en un entorn preciós. Especialment recomanable per parelles. Tot està pensat i dissenyat fins a l’últim detall amb molt bon gust. El servei és molt bo i el restaurant també. Tornarem!

Reservé el hotel entero un fin de semana completo para hacer una fiesta sorpresa de cumpleaños junto con familiares y amigos. Los empleados del hotel tenían que ayudar mucho para que toda la sorpresa saliera bien y lo prepararon como si fuera su propia sorpresa y lo hicieron de 10. Además, se volcaron durante toda la estancia para que nos sintiéramos como en casa. Y no solo el trato fue perfecto. Todos los invitados se fueron habiendo pasado uno de los mejores fines de semana. Las habitaciones, la ubicación, la comida, el servicio, las facilidades para todo.. fue increíble.

Hemos comido en este restaurante, la experiencia ha sido estupenda. La atención perfecta y la comida una gran experiencia sensacional. Recomendable 100%. Si volvemos por la zona no dudaremos en volver a disfrutar de su cocina. Enhorabuena!!!

Un lugar mágico! La decoración cuidadísima y con piezas de diseño tanto en interior como en exterior. Braseros en todos los espacios crean una atmósfera de refugio en el campo. La comida es excepcionalTiene un bar escondido que no te puedes perder! Volveremos sin duda!

Maravilloso lugar para escapar de la cotidianidad y respirar aire puro rodeado de muchísima vegetación. El trato del personal del hotel es casi familiar y la sensación de paz que se respira desde que llegas es brutal. Tener chimenea en la habitación (te dejan preparada la leña para que cualquiera pueda encenderla) es un lujo. Por poner un pero, los radiadores hacían algo de ruido y era difícil ducharse sin empapar el suelo del baño. Dicho lo cual, recomendadísima la visita. De hecho, volveré cuando llegue el buen tiempo para disfrutar de la piscina…

Ah! ¡Se come de lujo también!

La experiencia ha sido increíble: en medio de la naturaleza con los pajarillos como banda sonora, la habitación kubo era estupenda tanto la cama que era muy cómoda como la bañera de piedra, la chimenea y las vistas... el resto de las instalaciones son preciosas una mezcla perfecta entre modernas y rústicas, el trato fue maravilloso, siempre cuidando los detalles y tanto la cena como el desayuno fueron una delicia... Repetiremos seguro.

Hemos pasado un par de noches en el hotel y todo fantastico. El hotel tiene mucho encanto
con una arquitectura moderna en una edificacion antigua del siglo XVI y lo han sabido hacer con mucho gusto. Las habitaciones son pequeñas pero muy monas. El desayuno muy bueno y la comida tambien. El Servicio impecable. Si podemos volver repetiremos seguro.

Ein wirklich traumhaftes Hotel. Wir haben in einem der Cubes übernachtet, welche jeden Cent wert sind. Der Service vor Ort ist sehr freundlich und das Essen sehr gut. Wir können das Hotel und Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und wenn wir nochmal in der Nähe sind kommen wir auf jedenfall wieder. Vielen Dank!
