Hotel Altamira

A very charming old style hotel. It is right in the middle of Santellana. It has a lot of historic features and retains and authentic feel. Room where we stayed (201) was spotless, and then had a newly re done bathroom for added comfort. Breakfast is ok, but can be served in an amazing back courtyard if time allows. Windows provide little noise insulation although street nuisance is limited.

Spent a night at the Hotel Altamira while walking the Camino del Norte and very much enjoyed it. Beautiful old world interior, perfectly located, and incredibly helpful, nice staff!

What an incredible place! The decor is absolutely stunning! It gave me spooky vibes from the pictures I saw but that's also the cool thing about it. It is sadly not haunted and I got a really good night sleep 🙃 Located super centrally, the breakfast buffet was alright, it had everything I needed except for decent coffee. Overall a wonderful experience!

Very cute town and impressive hotel full of history. The only issue is that you can pretty much hear everything, from the street and the other rooms

Full of charm hotel in historical XVI century mansion. Perfectly located to explore the town and the area. Breakfast options limited during COVID but acceptable.

Super great hotel. It once was a palace built in the 16th century and converted to this totally cool hotel. Ahhh, Europe, so grand!

Es un hotel con mucho carácter y estilo medieval precioso y cuidado. Es una antigua hospedería que atrae la atención. Habitación triple con mucho espacio y cómodas las camas, el baño correcto, la ubicación es perfecta y el personal muy amable. Además, el desayuno es muy completo en un comedor espacioso que se aprecia mucho. Lo único que no nos gustó fue que las opciones de aseo en el baño fueran de tan mala calidad (sobres pequeños de gel y champú y 1 gorro de ducha en otro sobre). Echamos en falta un poco más de atención en este aspecto, pero todo lo demás, perfecto y repetiríamos sin dudarlo. Es excelente en calidad-precio.

Ubicación del hotel inmejorable,en medio del pueblo,instalaciones que nos encantaron ya que parece un Museo super bien puesto y arreglado.La limpieza muy buena y el desayuno más que correcto con personal agradable y simpático.Buena relación calidad- precio.
En definitiva,hotel muy recomendable para vuestra visita a Santillana.

Todo perfecto lugar con encanto parece que estás en la edad media. Todos sus trabajadoras de 10 muy atentas a todo y el desayuno de muy bueno lo único por poner una pega las cerraduras de las habitaciones. pero por lo general a sido todo un acierto.

Hotel espectacular, acorde con el pueblo, la chica de la entrada muy amable, llamé primero x teléfono y te atiende súper bien, desayuno incluido en el precio, bastante variado, sin duda para repetir

Hemos pasado una estancia estupenda. Santillana del Mar es una maravilla y este hotel está muy bien ubicado. Su decoración te traslada en el tiempo y las habitaciones son acogedoras. Destaco además el servicio y la atencion recibidos. Nos han ayudado en todo. Muchas gracias. Volveremos. Un abrazo.
