Hotel Pousada Real

Day #6 on the Camiño and a had decided to stay here an extra night for a rest day off our feet.
Was an excellent decision because Hotel Pousada Real is a wonderful property and the staff is excellent.
Cafetería is open almost all day and clean, bright and modern. More like a bistro than a cafeteria.
Hot springs a short walk from here and laundry self-serve directly across the street in the lower level of the Albergue - the Hotel staff will give you the pass code.
Church of St Thomas Becket 2 minute walk away and Mass every evening at 7pm.
Excellent place to stay right on the Camiño.

Great little hotel in the perfect location of these wonderful town. The staff was so very helpful and friendly. Every little detail was taken care of. Great attitude from everyone there. I hope to come stay for longer. Thank you so much to all the staff here!!

A lovely hotel with friendly staff. A really comfortable bed, a room with a bath so appreciated after a long wet day on the Camino. I highly recommend.

My mom and I stayed at Pousada Real while walking the Camino Portugues. It was the perfect place to relax and restore before walking the final 50 kms. The cafe was great for dinner and breakfast. We loved our clean and comfortable room, and the staff was so kind! Also a bonus to dip in the pool!

Fantastic hotel, service, rooms, pool. All great. We are staying here doing the Camino and the route takes you right past it.

Had a five star stay at this hotel! From the moment we came in, the staff were exceptional and the design details of the hotel are gorgeous. Excellent shower and the beds are super comfortable, plus even on a Saturday night, very quiet to sleep. Definitely DO get the breakfast, one of the best we had on the Camino, very high quality and huge selection of items (including eggs!). The croissants were the best I’ve had in Spain. You won’t regret staying here.

Highly recommend as an over night stay especially when ur hiking the Camino Portugues. Directly on the route. Very nice and helpful staff. Breakfast is made with love to your order. It alos includes a restaurant.

I didn’t stay here but popped in a couple of times for coffee. The place is very well located on the Camino path. Coffee was beautiful, staff super friendly and the place is modern, stylish and contemporary. It appears to be a newly designed building with lovely new meets old scandi design vibes.

This is one of the best hotels on the Camino! The staff is delightful. They are so helpful, kind, friendly and just all around wonderful! They planned a delicious home-cooked meal for us at Castro Restaurant just a few steps away from the hotel. Don't miss this stop on the Camino!

The staff is extremely friendly and attentive to the needs of their guests. The rooms are modern and very comfortable. The garden entices to sit outside and relax. Excellent experience. Our booking was organized by Pembratours and they were right to pick them.

Enjoyed a very comfortable stay here while on our Camino journey. Modern, comfortable, well equipped rooms and friendly, accommodating staff. The lady who runs the place puts in extra effort to look after her guests. We also did get an excellent restaurant recommendation from one of the front desk staff.

Quality food! We took avocado salmon toasts which made me very happy :)
