Barosa Waterfalls

Well worth the detour along the Camino. A really pretty and relaxing place. There is a cafe, a small shop and toilets. Put your weary feet into the river and continue on your way.

Great place to go for peaceful, shady River walk. Ideal for families as the children love playing on the natural slides into the pool by the bottom restaurant. Different pools to have a dip in. After top restaurant the walk is a circuit up river over bridge and back down. Total walk probably about 3km. Can be a little tricky in places. Top restaurant was cooking a whole octopus in a pot and s spatchocked pig! (Photos show)

Quite nice and small natural park. I would recommend pilgrims to stop by for few minutes.
There is no entrance fee.

So glad we took a side trip here from the camino. It was beautiful and peaceful and the restaurant right by it was surprisingly good.

Magical place!! Pulpo with a view!! If you up for it walk to the top of the waterfall and you will find a hidden gem another bar which is less crowded and surrounded by a forest! Serenity of that place was magical. We tired thier local wine which was served in the bowl delicious! And grilled Pulpo which has not be the best we had as it was quite chewy but still delicious taste!! They specialise is a stake as well which we would defo have next time!!

Beautiful falls were you can rest, have a bath, wet your feet. Also there is a bar/ restaurant there

Beautiful, peaceful scenic spot just off Camino. Rustic old water milld next to waterfall with beautiful views. Worth the walk and to see the gorge above. More pilgrims should visit here as it's close to Portuguese Way. Highly recommended for pic-nics too.

Beautiful location to enjoy cool water, shade and walks up the side of the waterfall if you have energy

Beautiful site with old mills for crushing grain with water power. Nice waterfalls. Slippery rocks if you choose to climb up the rocks.

Great place, nice waterfalls and natural slides for the kids with a small bar for drinks and ice creams for the adults.. worth the trip from villa Garcia.
