Albergue de Peregrinos de Briallos

Amazing food and friendly staff - we called in advance to check for availability and they offered to prepare the meal before we arrive.
The menu has a detailed English version, and I could ask for some modifications to have a vegetarian meal.

Cool place, very nice stay. We forgot charger and power bank there, the owner was willing to drive about 6 km and brought it back to us. I really recommend, kind people, willing to help.

We nearly had the place to ourselves. As municipal albergues go, this one is perfectly fine - a warm welcome and a clean bed. Showers and toilets are also clean, and there seemed to be enough of them. It’s VERY quiet at night - this is great. There’s a “canteen” restaurant attached that served very decent food for very decent money, and they have a small selection of beer and wine as well. I wouldn’t hesitate to stop here if I found myself on the Camino and in need of a rest. It’s pilgrim’s albergue not a 5-star hotel. Go into it understating that, and you’ll be thrilled.

Just off the Camino, this was one of my favorite Albergues. It’s run by the community and they are so kind and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and they provide disposable sheets and blankets. Bathrooms have hot water and a free washer/dryer. The restaurant is the best part though! I ate lunch and dinner there. The portions are great, full of vegetables, and incredibly good. You can sit on the lawn and have a drink after a long day on the Camino. It doesn’t get better!

Had a great albergue stay here. The restaurant/bar alongside the Albergue was great. The food and beers were spot on. The Albergue was clean and even had a washer and drier!

Great clean albergue. It has a bar with food joined onto it and a nice outdoor seating area. Washing and drying clothes are free.

Communal municipal Albergue, about 200m from the Camino trail, super relaxed and "easy" to get a bed even in the high season. It's only 8€, so don't expect luxury.

Best albergue so far. In the evening you can sit in the garden, order some delicious food (best cheesecake ever!) and just relax. The whole place is in quiet neighbourhood, so you can really take a rest.

Amazing place, good vibes, and especially the staff are beautiful people who do this job because they genuinely want to really look after the pilgrims rather than for money.
They were all very welcoming and nice to me, but especially Michael was incredibly kind and helpful when I had an issue during the trip.
It’s very rare to find this kind of goodness in people nowadays, this place will always have a special memory in my heart.

Not many pilgrims stopped here, was so good for us to stay comfortably. Not plastic bed, but clean enough with disposable covers and comfortable. Sufficient hot water for an essential relaxed shower for pilgrim. Free laundry and dryer. All is only for 8 euros. Detergent was available for 50 cents from the restaurant right next to it. Actually pilgrim menu from this restaurant was not available at this season and there is no restaurant near around, but they offer homemade style spagettie including bread, drink and fruit for 7 euros instead. It was a brilliant choice to stay here. Recommend it.

Great place. Arrived there drenched wet. Lady came and put on the heating. It was lovely and cosy. She ordered a takeaway for us and a bottle of wine. We had a great nights sleep and our clothes were dry in the morning.

It is a lovely place if you want to feel the pure nature. The staff is very helpful and they have great hospitality. The menu in the restaurant is very delicious, especially the dessert, that is amazingly good. Recommend for everybody! :)

All of the pilgrims running to Caldas de reis and now even stopping in this amazing place. Half of the beds were free, peaceful village, washing machine and dryer for free, full equipped kitchen and a lot of showers. Nice big garden. They are planning to open a bar next to the shelter :) fully recommended!

The couple running the cafeteria are lovely. They have a good heart and were very helpful to me and my dog. Great place for lunch. Thank you.

Probably the best public albergue around. As most people aim to get to caldas del Rey you get a mostly empty space, with fridge and fully equipped kitchen, free washing and drying machine.

Great take away food around (we ordered some Italian food, took around 45 min to get there but it was great homemade pasta).

We ate here daily menu and the food was really delicious, I have eaten here the best cheescake ever. The stuff was super nice and friendly. I can recommend this lovely place for everyone.
