Río Real Golf & Hotel - Marbella

Our group of 3 couples returned to play the golf course last week after a few years.
Course was in fantastic condition, big thanks to the course staff.
We all really enjoyed playing golf here, love the layout and character of the course, although not a long course in length, quite tight narrow fairways gives a good challenge.
We enjoyed lunch and a few drinks after our golf.

I recently had the pleasure of playing handicap golf at Rio Real Golf and Hotel in Marbella, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The property is stunning, offering breathtaking views and lush greenery that create a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere.

Ana at the hotel reception is a credit to the staff at this hotel. She went above and beyond to help me and I couldn’t be happier with the service she provided. Ana thank you very much for the amazing service. Could not be happier and she really is a credit to the whole hotel.

A beautiful golf course, very well maintained, a very polite, friendly and respectful staff.
The only negative point is the noise of the A7. Perfect greens, very fast, beautiful fairways, a real Championship course, nothing to do with this qualification used by many golf resorts as a marketing slogan…

Have just returned from an amazing stay ate the Rio Real Golf Hotel. The service from start to finish was brilliant. The whole team , from the security staff, receptionists, managers, cleaning staff etc were brilliant.
The hotel is lovely and quiet ( only 30 , very lovely rooms ) and the location is away from all the touristic noise of Marbella.
The hotel itself is immaculate. Really well done and honestly has the best shower we have experienced in all our years of travel ! We are super excited to see what their new beach club will be like !

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rio Real Golf & Hotel Marbella, and it was an unforgettable experience. The service at this hotel is exceptional, with attentive staff who go above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
The rooms are incredibly spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with a lovely terrace offering stunning views of the golf course.

The breakfast spread is impressive, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. Additionally, the restaurant serves up some truly amazing dishes that are not to be missed. Personally, I was blown away by the Roasted Galician Octopus with Pineapple Pico de Gallo – it was truly out of this world.

One staff member who stood out during my stay was Angela from the Clients desk (Golf reservations). She left such a lasting impression with her sunny disposition and genuine care for the guests' needs. Angela's radiant personality truly made my day brighter, even as the rain poured outside. Her warmth and genuine care for each client's needs are incredibly admirable, and it's evident that she puts her heart into every interaction. Thank you Angela for spreading joy and positivity wherever you go, and for making my days brighter.

Maria from the Reception desk was also incredibly kind and helpful with all our requirements, invoice and everything, being warm and adding to the exceptional service of the hotel.

Overall, my experience at Rio Real Golf & Hotel Marbella was fantastic, and I can't wait to return. Highly recommended!

Every time I play Rio Real Golf Course it seems to get better and better! I love the course and the people are so helpful and friendly. As always, the course itself was in magnificent condition. The greens were fabulous and the bunkers beautifully prepared and cared for. It's always a pleasure to play this course, my favorite course within 45 mins of where we stay. Top Marks Again Rio Real!

Rooms are spacious and comfortable, Staff is always smiley and very helpful for any request.
The golf course is in challenging but playable, and in a pristine condition, and the pro shop has a good clothing choice .
The restaurant is spacious and as far as the cuisine is concerned, the chef is really incredible, whatever dish you choose, it’s a treat!

Stayed at the hotel for a week for a spring break and some golf lessons.
From the moment of check in to my departure a week later, the experience was flawless.
The team are all friendly and helpful, the rooms super quiet, comfortable and relaxing and the restaurant/bar has great food.
My main purpose was to get golf lessons and I was lucky to meet Frank who has an incredible and patient way of helping you find a thought process for what you need to do
I did two hours a day for 4 days and whilst on day three I thought I was getting worse, on day four something suddenly clicked and I hit some shots that surprised the life out of me!
The pool is quiet and relaxing, everything is nearby and the practice area brilliant.
It’s not a typical hotel, more of a family run boutique, but I have already booked to go back in a few weeks!
Brilliant and well recommended.

Beautiful location, had dinner there it was lovely

They have a great lounge, very comfortable especially for the winter months. The indoor dining area is lovely, and the terrace has a splendid seating area, lovely views, it's shaded during the summer months so you can have lunch comfortably. The food is good, the waiters are friendly. The golf course itself is worth playing, all in all - recommend - you should go and have a good time.

Stayed three nights, played twice, great and very beautiful course, well kept and varied. Nice small hotel, big rooms quite nice atmosphere, and compared to other parts of Marbella, almost no traffic noise (except from the holes going all the way to the ocean). Restaurant with typical golf restaurantmenu in good quality. Nice breakfast. Very service minded and smiling staff.

Surprisingly large rooms, very neat. I had a view of the golf course and could watch it from my private jacuzzi.

The course contrary to some reviews was in good condition apart from a couple of tee boxes. Greens very fast and very unforgiving. Hotel itself is excellent, wonderful staff throughout. Rooms very very spacious and comfortable, all with views of the 11th signature hole. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Really nice hotel with a really nice golf course on the doorstep. It has a decent putting g and short game.practice area. Driving range is a short walk away. Rooms were high quality as was the service. Small pool but perfect for a post round dip. Would stay there again.

We live in Marbella and always recommend golf friends to stay at the hotel. The rooms are nicely decorated and have a lovely terrace overlooking the golf course. We love playing the course, it’s well maintained and a beautiful course to play. We have had lunch and dinner in the restaurant before and they are both good.

Lovely hotel. Service slightly let down by staff at breakfast where guests are expected to know how to operate the coffee machine and orange juice press rather than the staff serving them. Very strange!
