Mirador Monte Picayo

Great for hiking. Leave your car down and walk up. It's about 2,6 km walk/hiking up to the cross. Don't forget to wear good shoes. On the half way you will climb up first mountain and the price will be great view over the sea 👌 but don't stop and keep on going to the top. The views will not disaapoint. Great for an active day.
Be aware of high temperatures. I don't advice to hike in the summer season unless it will be early morning or late evening. Take s9me water with you !!!

The surroundings of Valencia has its fair share of beautiful viewpoints - or simply "miradores" - so at some, once you've visited several, it's harder and harder to be surprised. Monte Picayo manages to do that - reachable from several entries, offers a relatively easy walk and beautiful views on Sagunto and Valencia. When entering from urbanització Els Monestirs, there is a bit of a steep walk up, but the more steep places have been evened out with cement - it's about 40 minutes from there, depending on the amount of photo opportunities stops you take. Make sure you go up to catch the sunset, which can be spectacular. Bring water, comfortable shoes - and a good camera.

There were not many pines, but the air was as if we were deep in the forest. Recommend to take snack and have a short break on the very top with the good view.

We actually rode our scooters most of the way up... not recomended, but a beautiful hike!

The best morning walk.

Well worth the walk. You can park and walk 2km uphill or if you're confident you can drive most of the way on unpaved roads, park and walk the rest. I recommend the walk. Take snacks and plenty of water.

Sandstone high cliffs with a dramatic view over the whole bay of Sagunto and Valencia to the south, well worth the energetic hike up there through Mediterranean woodland.

Fabulous 360 views across the bay of Valencia and north to Sagunto and Castellón. Behind, views along the spine of the Sierra Calderona and Sierra Espadan. Easy path to follow.

Precioso lugar para disfrutar de vistas al mar, a Espadán, la Calderona, Valencia...
El acceso puede ser en coche, a pie y en bicicleta. Los últimos metros hasta la cruz tienen q ser caminando, pero sin dificultad.
Muy recomendable..

Es una ruta suave con algún repecho.
De dificultad media.
Desde la carretera del monasterio de Santoespiritu y volver son unos 10 km. Las vistas valen la pena.

Excelente experiencia. Se puede realizar en bici o caminando, inclusive con coche se puede llegar hasta arriba, aunque algunas partes son bastante empinadas. La vista desde la cima es increíble!
