Great location to enjoy the attractions from the park.
The hotel looks nice, tidy and the rooms are big.
The breakfast is not diversified, but the food is good.

Outstanding hotel that could be perfect were it not for some irritating ‘quirks’
Firstly we travel a lot, so know what sort of standard one should expect from price and star rating.
This, contrary to what other reviews say definitely IS a 4* hotel, it has all the amenities to qualify, beautiful pools, fantastic landscaping, great restaurants and buffet, bars, entertainment and a free fitness suite with some spa facilities (hot tub, sauna ect..)

The hotel itself is vast, anyone complaining that it’s ‘too big’ or ‘like a labyrinth’ is simply lazy or incapable of finding their way around, do not let this put you off.
It’s set in stunning landscaped grounds, with direct access to the enormous Portaventura World parks.

Because of the style of architecture used to create the ‘Mediterranean fishing town’ resort that the hotel resides in, rooms come in various sizes some with large and some with small balconies, some with balconets and some with a terrace.
Most look onto the vast pools or landscaped gardens.

The only major negative for us (and many others) was the fact the resort has disabled the air conditioning from being set to your desired temperature, it simply won’t allow you to change it lower than the 20-something degrees that the resort has deemed sufficient for ‘energy saving environmental reasons’
This is simply not acceptable!!
In communal spaces, that’s fine, but paying what we did, to not have the option in our own room to drop the temperature lower than 23° when it’s 35° outside is simply not fair!
Only other issue that need working on by management are the hallways and stairwells, they were not maintained to the same standard as everywhere else was.

Food was great, no issues with the quality or availability, restaurants clean, well maintained, and good options.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating, most spoke wonderful English and made polite conversation.
They are a great asset.

If resort management are reading this, ask yourself, do you care more about returning customers or maintaining your B rating for environmental sustainability!?
It’s a great achievement for the resort, but when it comes to temperature regulation, we need the choice to make ourselves comfortable in our own rooms!

Amazing family experience, recommended for at least 2 nights. Good location next to the park with unlimited access during the stay including the day of arrival and the day of departure, the food was good and the place has a very high awareness of food allergies with a separate menu

Bit spooky during Halloween weekend as I never saw any staff there but everything was always regularly cleaned and maintained.

Rooms were great with a great view of the pool and common areas. Rooms and common areas were very clean.
Service from some of the front desk staff was a bit rude. They lack enthusiasm and customer service. Breakfast and dinner service was a long wait, but I recommend reserving your time slots for breakfast and dinner to skip the wait. Overall, it was a great experience. It was a great weekend, get-away 🙌

Lovely hotel. Staff brilliant and very helpful. Rooms clean and spacious. Lovely food such a large variety. You can earn points to spend by swiping your hotel card. Love a loyalty scheme. Would defo come back.

Great breakfast buffet with a wide range of products!

++ port regata restaurant was my favorite, incredible vegan plates! Nothing over-priced, big portions and tasty food!!

Pros:
- staff are really friendly and helpful
- perfect location for visiting the park (just 5min walk)

Con:
- rooms are stuffy, dated and smelly.
- expect to queue for absolutely everything... 45mins to check in is not a great was to start a holiday

We were 2 adults and 2 children stayed for 3 nights end of May beginning of June in one room. Location is great for the park just few minutes walking from the room to park entrance. The hotel has a good looking architecture. The pool is big, very nice decorated with lots of trees and flowers; it has plenty of sun beds. Services were really good, staff was friendly. Room was very big and very clean, fitted with 2 queen size beds; we probably stayed in a recent renovated one as it was clean and modern; bathroom was big, clean and quite nicely decorated. We use reataurant for breakfast only and they were really well organized; staff was fast while food selection was very good. Highly recommend as we would go there again.

They fit us in at last minute and the staff could not do enough to make sure our stay went well. We even felt safe eating their gluten free menu.

Not a place to go and relax but definitely a place to go and have family fun

Great for a family trip. NOT a place to go and relax and have peace and quiet. This is a very busy hotel with lots of guests and hustle and bustle. All the staff we encountered were lovely and really friendly.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, very peaceful and relaxing place to be. Two very large pools, with plenty of sun loungers. The food for both breakfast and dinner was very good with plenty of choice. Lots of attentive and helpful staff who speak a good amount of English, more than enough to get by. Having direct access to the park is a major plus, you enter the park at the main entrance but seperate to the normal paying public, very convenient. The rooms are good with a large bath and shower, there is also a clothes line for hanging clothes, and a fridge. The air-conditioning in the room is a nice edition as it can get very hot! Overall excellent hotel and normally very reasonably priced, well recommended.

Great hotel,right by the park. Lovely staff who really do go the extra mile. Hotel rooms are spacious with everything that you might need. Bathrooms are modern.

Everything is well signposted.

Swimming pool is really well maintained with good life guards. I really liked the complex and the food was very good.

Loved every second of being here. Great location for the park, less than 2 mins walk from my room to the entrance. We had half board, with self service buffets for breakfast and dinner - food was fresh, varied and plentiful. Even the non-inclusive drinks menu was reasonably priced.

Just returned from a brilliant weeks holiday with family.
Cant fault the hotel and such close proximity to the theme park.
Food really good and such a variety.
We all enjoyed the shows in the park especially Halloween Kingdom, saw it 3 times during the week.
Will definitely be returning along with more members of the family.

It was an AWESOME hotel. Loved that you could walk to the park from it, rooms were extremely clean and well decorated. The staff was very friendly. Overall we had an excellent stay at this hotel. 100% recommendable.

Very good hotel. Locate as part of the Portaventura Amusement Park. The service was excellent most of the time, food was excellent with so much variety to choose from. We have the half board package so breakfast and dinner were included. Price is reasonable once you have the package paid for, the add on are generally occasion beer here and there. Ambience was also excellent, mostly families and my kids have lovely time here.

This is the best place to have a family vacation, into the park in seconds.. we could rest in the middle of the day and the whole family enjoyed..
The breakfast buffet has everything, the dinner is good but can be better.

Room and facilities were really nice and we could walk through the patio doors from our room and be practically poolside. First hotel I've stayed at where there were always sunbeds available and pool was quiet, even in August. No entertainment within the hotel but that's understandable as you get access to Portaventura theme park included, where there are loads of rides and shows to take advantage of.

Amazing experience, thanks for the all the staff of the hotel and for all the parks. You feel secure.. very clean hotel and the parks. Thanks Portaventura for the great holiday. Really enjoyed it to the full.
