PortAventura Hotel Caribe

Lovely hotel to stay at and I love the Caribbean theme! It has clean and beautiful rooms with king sized beds!

This was our first time at this hotel and it was fantastic
Rooms have air con and a fridge and are serviced daily.
Pools are fantastic and we were able to get loungers no matter what time we went to the pool, and there are plenty palm trees dotted around, so getting shade from the sun was also not really an issue.
Food was lovely, with a great buffet selection at breakfast and dinner.
Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and spoke multiple languages.
Would definitely recommend and hope to return.

Love this hotel been twice now. The San Juan upgrade is very nice. Private pool for the block which is nice for a cool down. The main sand bottomed pool is lovely. Food is so so. Convenient for Salou and Port Aventura. Staff are friendly

Very nice Hotel not far from the entrance and the city of Salou.

Beautiful surrounding with lots of plants and a big lake with a swimming pool on each side.

Rooms are nothing special but all come with shower/bath, toilet and an outside seating area.

Several restaurants, bars and pool bars on premise.

Have been here twice and will come back :)

Very well maintained and beautiful resort well within the premise of Portaventura park. The rooms are comfortably sized with beautiful ambience. The resort has a beautiful outdoor swimming pool. The breakfast at the hotel was very good with also options for vegetarians and vegans.
It also has a mini disco which we did not explore though. The entire facility is very calm, clean, kid friendly, safe and beautiful.

This resort is a perfect place to spend fun-filled weekend with your loved ones.

Pros:
- Room bigger than expected
- Air-conditioning was excellent
- Bed was huge (for us two) and comfortable
- Towels replaced everyday
- Great view from the balcony
- Leave luggage at the security to enter the park while waiting for room to be ready

Cons:
- Leaking fridge (we assumed it was broken)
- 15 - 20 minute walk from the park entrance (depending on where you are located within the hotel)
- Check-out process was long and less efficient (long waiting lines)

My girlfriend and I went to PortAventura for vacation during the summer. We booked this hotel as it was the cheapest of the bunch. We were lucky to get a room at the edge of the hotel so we only had to walk about 15-20 minutes to get to the entrance of the park.

We enjoyed the room! It was bigger than we expected (we might have been lucky as we got a room at the corner/edge of the building). The view from our balcony was great, overlooking the mini beach. Air-conditioning was excellent, it cooled the room quite fast despite turning it on shortly after getting back to the room. Towels were replaced everyday despite us choosing to re-use them (for more eco-friendliness).

Family break, 2 adults 2 children. Excellent hotel and service. Buffet type breakfast was extensive. Half board meal option included buffet type dinner, excellent selection of food and was varied every evening. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Pools were excellent and property is very well
Maintained throughout. Idyllic setting. Access to theme park included, single day access to Ferrari land and discount tickets to Caribe aquatic park included. Shuttle train brings from hotel to park entrance every 15 minutes. 10 minute walk to town and beaches. Would come again.

Cant beat location and tickets are included in price. The noise isolation leaves a bit bad taste in mouth - you can see the light trough the cracks in the door where it closes with frame.

We came here for our honeymoon and loved it.
The room wasn't anything special and a bit rough around the edges but the bed was huge and comfortable and we had plenty of space in the room.
The hotel's pools are lovely and good sized. The white sand beach is nice to relax on, but can get quite hot.
Staff are friendly and helpful, just the lifeguards a little bit overly denfensive on certain matters.
The buffet isn't too bad, very Americanised. Great for families though. We mainly had our meals at the park.

There can be a wait at reception as checking in can be a process as park tickets are included plus breakfast times have to be sorted.

Will probably try another hotel on our next stay but this is definitely one of the best on the park.

Have just returned from Hotel Caribe.
The rooms were excellent, cleaned daily and all have air conditioning.
The buffet restaurant was outstanding, a huge variety of food all of the highest quality. Can't praise this place enough. Very close to the parks with a useful land train to run you too and from the hotel. Close to town for supplies of bottled water, which are expensive at the hotel, but easily purchased at local supermarkets for 10% of the hotel price, and put in the fridge located in our room.
We will definitely be returning soon.

This hotel should be 5 stars. The good and choice for breakfast and lunch was vast and delicious. The rooms clean and comfy beds, grounds of the hotel are immaculate and the two huge pools fantastic. We love our two week stay here and I'd highly recommend.

Lovely rooms within the hotel.....Both breakfast and dinner are plentiful.....If you want a change, you can get vouchers from the reception...and eat elsewhere within the park.

The WIFI is very good and the surroundings are superb.....The swimming pool is generally quiet. Definitely worth staying there for a few days.....

Quiet pools very relaxing. Food really good although not a vast variety. Theme parks excellent. All in all an amazing Holliday with something for everyone. We travelled as family of four, young baby and 7 year old all enjoyed every minute of it.

Our last night here and we are sad to leave, the hotel exceeded our expectations, very tranquil with the Caribbean touch our very own beach/pool within 30ft of room, plenty of sunloungers. Very clean and tidy throughout. Only dined at the Buffet Bohio, excellent food, plenty of selection something for everyone. Plenty of staff very helpful especially the receptionists as limited English. Would definitely come back here.

Beautiful place for making memories for the future. Rooms are big & well equipped. Place is surrounded by greenery & beautiful water body. They have created true Caribbean feal. Food served in buffet is great. Restaurants are beautiful. For people visiting Portaventura & Ferrari Land this place is The Best.

A few minor faults such as bed sheets not being renewed for a day and a few mistranslations. The staff here were amazing and helped us with any issues we had. They kept us informed with everything happening and were more than happy to change our rooms as we asked for a double bed a little later than we should have

We stayed at PortAventura Hotel Caribe for 2 weeks. Absolutely amazing. Staff are very friendly and even though they have limited English, they were very helpful. Hotel room was clean and cleaners did a great job everyday. View from room was absolutely perfect overlooking the pool and even had a view of the roller-coasters. Food buffet was great and was different every day! Definitely would go back. Hotel Caribe is the place to stay!👏🏼

The pool area is lovely, however the Gold River hotel where we stayed on our last visit in Port Aventura is nicer and the rooms are better and has direct access to the park which is really good, you enter the park where the ride Stampida is which is a wooden roller coaster.

The Caribe and the Portaventura World park have been great. The food has been good quality and plenty to choose from,from starters to dessert. The rooms are spacious and provide all that you need,as well as a lovely balcony seating area outside every room. Staff have been friendly and the stay has been fun for all the family.
