Hotel Jaume I

I am very satisfied with the accommodation in the hotel. The food was excellent, fresh and varied, the rooms clean, bright and tidy. The ladies who clean the rooms came every day and made the stay very pleasant. I would definitely recommend it to people with children, but also to everyone else.

Me, my Mrs and my 2 boys stayed here between 29th May 2023 and 3rd June 2023, and must say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Yes the dining rooms can get very busy at eating times but you expect that in a hotel that has 780+ rooms, and they charge 3€ each to use the indoor swimmimg pool, and parking is horrendous as it's chargeable and street parking is a nightmare, but for the price and the facilities you get it's excellent!

There are 4 outdoor swimming pools, 1 huge pool with fresh water, 1 medium pool with a waterfall with salt water, and 2 fresh water baby pools, also the mini golf was free when we went but just had to leave a deposit for golf clubs and balls. The kids playground is good fun and the waterpark with slides is awesome.

The staff were very good and helped out alot, although the queues at the desk get massive the staff are very attentive and rush through all the guests fairly quickly.

Suzzanne at the front desk was awesome, very friendly and very helpful and she simply couldn't do enough!
Also Fanny, Egor, Christina and Andrea we're all really helpful and my Mrs sings there prayers as they all helped without any issues with our toddlers feeds and any help we needed, THANKS GUYS!

We had an issue with our Debit card payment, I think some card machines in Spain don't accept or take ages pending your debit card transactions as it happened to us again at the Ferrari Land carpark. It took money out of our account but was on pending and the hotel didn't recieve the funds, so we had to use a Credit card or pay cash. We paid cash and then called our bank and got the hotel to email them and have the pending transaction cancelled. That took a day and following day money was in our account. Me being in retail I understand it wasn't the hotels fault but the credit card company systems need sorting, as we used the same card in Salou, Tarragona, Reus and Barcelona all week and didn't have a problem.
Anyhow the staff on the counter did their upmost best and helped resolve the issue as quick as possible with calling the manager and reversing the transaction, and then emailing our bank for us.
So if you do use a Halifax debit card from the UK just bare this in mind.

Anyhow moving on to the food. We choose breakfast only with our stay, and it was well worth it! Although the dining room was busy you still managed to get a table and there was ample of food choice, although it was same food every day but still ample for a different choice everyday, with fresh Pancakes, Omelettes, and fried eggs, cereal, full English, fresh fruits and churros, and free juices and hot drinks, and loads of other stuff. All really nice!

Me, the Mrs and my 2 boys absolutely love it here, and will defiantly recommend this place, and we'll also definitely be back to stay. But next time we won't hire a car as everything is a few minutes walk from here and we didn't use the car much at all, except a couple of days to drive to Barcelona, Tarragona and then on the last day we spent in Reus as we was gonna hand the car back at Reus Airport where we was flying back to the UK from, so made a day of it with the car.

*Just one recommendation, we would have book full board but there isn't any Halal option for lunch or dinner, if you guys could add some Halal meat dishes for lunch and dinner then that would be great.

Absolutely lovely hotel. Close to everyrhing. Food was nice and a lot to choose from. Definitely would return.

This hotel is perfect especially with kids. It's everything in there - 2 swimming pools, mini aquapark, playground, indoor playground, lots of activities during the day.
2 big restaurants with very delicious food.
Location very good in the centre of town. And few minutes walk from the beach.
The animators very good and really was nice shows with Micheal Jackson show and the live band was amazing.
All staff was nice too.
Very highly recommended. Definatelly will be back again.

A nice big hotel not far from the beach, with two big outdoor pools and a good sized indoors pool too. The pool area was well kept, nice and clean with a poolside bar, but main pool was freezing cold, the rooms are a nice size with a balcony and very clean too, bar and reception staff were friendly and the food in the restaurant was lovely with a great selection for all guests, the mako shark is a must.

bro it was so good when i went there evenfore i didnt get any wifi i still at an amazing experice there the food was super super super good and the watersildes were just amazing i had an amazing week it had really good staff to so if you going to spain please pick hotel jaime I its really good trust me everybody you wanna go there Whos agrees with me

Not bad at all. Clean rooms, clean facilities, decent food options (I went half board), activities for children, clean pools, and good customer service. Close enough to the beach (if this interests you). Not much to fault, so giving a scarce 5 stars!

Amazing hotel Especially for FAMILIES <3I absolutely loved this place <3 I've been going to Salou for absolute years . I've been to salou eleven times and already looking forward to going back this summer ! Ive stayed in many hotels in Salou but this has been by far my favourite ive only been here 3 times ( including my upcoming holiday ) and i love it ! The pools are great , amazing location , relatively very quiet streets at night ( which was a problem with me in other hotels in salou ) food is very nice can be a little repetitive but still very nice . Honestly i dont know what else to right other than it is amazing for a family holiday especially

Love this hotel .. great location minutes from beach ... plenty of space.. very family friendly .. loads of choice for food .. Lovely friendly staff .. usually visit in September.. Visited earlier this year was very quiet and no entertainment but still great spot

It's a nice hotel 🏩 but we went the wrong week for us and all those little footballers. But enjoyed it on the whole. The food was pretty good too.

Child friendly with lots of activities 3 pools and a large play park. A shop inside cheaper than elsewhere..thanks to all the staff for an amazing holiday experience.

Great hotel, staff really helpful and the food is good. Can be a bit crazy when fully booked but there is 800 rooms lol

Amazing place if you go between last 2 weeks in June up to the first 2 weeks in September. Still a good place to stay outside of that period
