Hotel Golden Port Salou

amazing hotel! All staff really were so friendly and their entrainment staff are amazing! We just had the breakfast and had plenty of options. Beds were super comfy and the cleaners are a credit to the hotel, we were on the fifth floor and didnt matter if they had done all the rooms they would quickly clean yours when we took the do not disturb down. Also drinks and food are super cheap in the hotel which was great! Only thing that they need to do is not let people leave their towels on over night so they are occupied the next day. A french man who was staying went to take our towels and my personal belongings off a sunbed as he said his towel was there drying from the night before… other than that fantastic hotel. Really enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Just arrived back from a 10.night stay we had a brilliant time. Would highly recommend this hotel. Close to beach and shops also restaurants. We had a family suit which was absolutely spotless and beds made everyday the cleaners are outstanding the whole hotel in side and out by pool is spotless. Food is absolutely stunning and lots of variety to choose from. All staff are happy and helpful and will go above and beyond for you. One small minor issue the disabled toilets are actually in the female or male toilets I think it would be much more easier to have just it's own disabled toilet in main reception block. Would definitely go back.

Just got back stayed for 5 nights and me and the kids (5 & 2) loved it. Staff are super friendly and helpful we had breakfast and dinners here and it was always spot on so much choice and variety to suit everyone, special mention to Javier who works in the restaurant always had a smile and was so friendly and helpful. Kids loved the entertainment in the evenings the pools were clean and nice and even though we went in August we never had any trouble finding sunbeds despite not waking up early to secure one. The rooms are spacious and always spotless and very comfortable. The hotel is less than 10 walk to the beach and shops so plenty close by and would definitely come back here again thank you!

Everything about our stay at the hotel was fantastic, from check in through to checkout. All the staff were amazing and really supportive when trying to get help with anything. The room was amazing and they gave us a nice treat for a birthday while there. The buffets were top notch and each night had a different selection of food that was fresh and very tasty! The local area has everything you could need outside of the hotel, and was well placed for transport and a short walk to the seafront and shops.

First time staying at Hotel Golden Port Salou. The staff are really friendly, however a special mention to the children entertainers in particular Rachel and Alba. They keep the children entertained throughout the day and evening. The children love them and they have so much patience with them. I only had the breakfast, didn’t go all inclusive but cannot fault the breakfast at all. All very good and quickly seated at the table. All the staff in this hotel are super friendly, from the waiter/waitress to the life guards and reception desk. My family are coming to stay in this hotel next month. I’ve already said I would not hesitate to come back here. The location is perfect too, 10 minute walk to the main strip of eating places, arcades and tourist shops. 10 minutes in a taxi to Portaventura (theme park) which is amazing.

I can't describe how amazing my stay was. I went In April with my family and it was luxurious. It was so luxurious that I EXTENDED MY STAY by 2 nights. During the day there is tons of activities for kids, teenagers and adults. Everything is so fun!! There is Archery, Darts, Pool, French bowls, Rifle Shooting and so much more. I enjoyed every activity every single day! Shout out the the incredible games workers Juan Antonio, Irene and Christina <3. The indoor pool in this hotel is so warm and amazing 😍🤩.
I went half board and the breakfast and Dinner was beautiful. There was so much selection for everyone. This hotel is amazing and I will be coming back next year!! 💘

Would highly recommend this hotel!!
My partner and I stayed for a week and we found the staff very friendly and welcoming. There is an open buffet with so many options and lovely food. We stayed in penthouse suite and the room was brilliant with a balcony overlooking the pools.
There is entertainment every evening which is especially great for kids. Very enjoyable.
We are so thankful to the staff for making it such a memorable holiday.

Lovely hotel with lots of great facilities-think they have about 8 pools including the indoor spa pool (paid entry) and separate indoor pool (free entry). Also games room, lots of pool tables, 2 bars with entertainment on at night, a small book swap area and a gym. Room was modern (recently renovated) and quiet, overlooking a low rise residential area (room 532). Staff excellent, hotel kept very clean and food at breakfast and dinner was delicious and varied.

Definitely recommend the all you can eat breakfast, something for everyone , young and old. Counter staff are friendly and very helpful. If your booking a spa you need to do it early. The gym is very good . No free standing weights but plenty of weight assisted machines to work with.
Pools are good . A little cold but there is an indoor if you like. Beach is walking distance with plenty of restaurants and shops along the strip. All in all we will definitely be going back.

Wow where do we start, we booked this holiday for eight nights last year and just got back from eight nights half board family suite with pool view. The price was very reasonable for the holiday through TUI. The hotel is not far from reus airport approximately twenty minutes depending on hotel drop offs. The location is brilliant everything you need in the area from food, drink, supermarkets , the beach is about ten minute walk away great location. Now the hotel is fantastic the cleanliness is top notch throughout room cleaned every single day and you can see its well maintained. The food was lovely lots of choice, massive selection of drinks and the prices in the hotel are very reasonable well done for that. My last comment is for the staff, absolutely brilliant every single one of you, the kids club was amazing and our kids had so much fun again the staff worked so hard and well with them, even the games throughout the day keeps everyone entertained such an entertaining, relaxing holiday. We used the spa twice this was very nice and relaxing. It was all so good we booked again before we left see you again, keep up the good work and thanks to all at golden port Salou spa

Staff are extremely nice, especially the entertainment team, 4 pools to choose from good entertainment on day and night .
Food is great with a good choice from breakfast to evening meals.

I travelled with my son aged 8 as well as family and friends
I am an Independent travel agent and often review hotels, I was given a room upgrade to a suite with a pool view as well as a bottle of cava waiting in the room, free Spa access and 2x water bottle to use with their filtered water stations around the hotel - extremely grateful. The rooms were spotless (they have digital safe) and are cleaned daily.
You can hire fresh towel at the hotel for the pools 10euro deposit and then 1euro each towel change
The food was brilliant with a fantastic range and choice with something new to try each day.
The entertainment was brilliant and varied for both adults and children, both day and night. Lots of pools and 1 you can use floats in!
The bars were lovely especially Gregal bar - lovely atmosphere with live singers. There is also a door at the back of the bar with a short cut to the main strip (door closes 11pm) but can also use the main door. 5 min walk to bars, shops and restaurants and 10 min to beach (tops)
The Spa is beautiful and fair prices for treatments

There is a luggage room as well as room that can be used for a shower if you have a late flight.
We used a taxi (although can walk) to Portaventura, which was around 15/20 euros each way. Highly recommend and staying for the parade and firework show 1030-1130pm
There is a sister hotel 2 min walk from the Golden port which you can use their pool, they have a couple of little slides and a bouncy pillow in the pool - my son throughly enjoyed. I can't recommend this hotel enough. I will most certainly stay again.

Really enjoyed my time here! Staff were all friendly, helpful and smiling 😁 Good selection of food at breakfast and dinner, really tasty ice-cream machine, and great sangria.

Rooms and hotel in general was very clean and pools were great . We got massages in the spa and enjoyed the heated indoor pool and sauna and steam room too.

Where do I start? Location 5 mins from one of the main streets in Salou plus another 5 mins to get to main beach promenade. Excellent check-in with digital key lock system for rooms that is faultless and put our 2 boys next to us in adjoining room-big relief. Rooms ready earlier than expected. Free room safe a real surprise and easy to use unlike so many we've used over the years. Loved daily cleaning service of rooms and daily new towels plus room tidy - VIP treatment. Air con that worked brilliantly. Balcony/room was facing onto street and facing NE but perfectly adaquate to sit out with small table and 2 chairs. We slept great and no noise issues thankfully for us during the stay. Washer/dryer facilities available in sister hotel (Golden Family Suite) 2 mins down the street which we always use on our summer hols. 3 lifts which was vital to keep things moving(so often inadequate supply in other hotels) and while a lift did go into broken mode on a few occasions this was dealt with quickly. 2 entertainment venues with band vs solo singer type modes which was great as we like quieter entertainment in the evenings and the 2nd air con bar with outdoor section provided singer entertainment with chilled vibe. Massive improvement on sunbed/parisol availability with 3 seperate areas, 2 large and 1 reasonable sized areas with no stacking of sunbeds as adaquate room to accomadate number supplied-so often its a rush at opening time with numerous rows on other holidays/hotels/campsites. There was also an indoor pool but we didnt use this area. Number of water stations (with chilled water available) dotted around pool areas with bar supply of free plastic reusable containers as needed(real money saver). Loads of activities and very engaged entertainment crew. Hotel staff fantastic, hotel spotless, food at breakfast/lunch/dinner excellent quality. We went part board but were given option of lunch or dinner which was so useful and saved us a packet. On departure day we had a pick up for 3.30pm and 11am checkout. Hotel had no capacity to offer late checkout which we like to use but often cant at hotels. However, Golden Port gave us the next best thing and have a facility for guests to use a dedicated room on your floor later before you leave to shower and change as needed. Hotel has a variety of nationalities and ages staying which is an interesting mix. Only small drawbacks I could think of were no dedicated playing area with slides etc for younger kids which wasnt of concern for us but they may have some arrangement with the sister hotel 2 mins away in the Golden Family Suite Hotel. Also, there are a number of tall trees dotted around outside areas/pool areas which do shed some needles and a little tree debris during the day which is a little annoying. No facility to tip staff when paying by credit card so worth keeping some cash for this if you want to acknowledge the excellent service. As you can guess we loved our stay and everything the hotel provided, this is possibly the best summer holiday hotel we have ever stayed in. I highly recommend and hope that if you do use this hotel that you have as great an experience as we did.

We were in 5 we stayed on the 6th floor. The rooms were newly refurbished, clean, comfy bed, hair drier and hair and body wash free to use ( though it made my skin dry)
Restaurant- food and service exceed my expectations. Everyday something different and of course keeping the basics for people who do not like for example seafood ( I love it).
We went full board no drinks included but prices were affordable and fair.

Outside pools really cold- that's something that the hotel could improve
Visited the gym and it was nice
Pleasant Spa had a massage that costed 45 pounds 1 hour and had free access to the spa area with heated pool and sauna.

It's a fantastic hotel, great for kiddies, and there are lots of activities. Nice food, I can't complain. We got all included options, a great saver as the restaurant can be dear and food is just okey

Went there last year again this year and next year. The hotel and staff are amazing the food out off this world the pool area cleaned every day immaculate the hotel maids outstanding literally 5 min from shops but far enough away to be quite. Hotel security fantastic love it

One of the best places I've ever stayed in any resort 👌 😍 from the cleanliness of the hotel, rooms, pool area is beyond excellent, me and my 4 year old grand daughter were truly welcomed and looked after in every way possible 😀 the service was unreal the staff are exceptionally nice people that go above and beyond to make sure your stay is everything it should be.
The food was unreal here so much choice daily , Hugh selection of all kinds of starters, mains, deserts to suit all appetites, diets, i could not fault anything about this hotel 😋 👌💯👌👌👌👌

Great well presented building with staff to match, very professional but had time to have a laugh with the guests. The location of the hotel however was not so good to walk to the nearest bars and restaurants there was a disused nightclub which looked like it played host to rough sleepers and a street which seemed to keep the police interested on a very regular basis.
