O'Neill Surf Academy Spain El Palmar

This place rents out boards and wetsuits and offers surf classes as well. The people working here are super friendly and equipment is well maintained. We went surfing for 1,5 hrs during sunset and that it was beautiful. They have a changing room inside which we could use.

All worked very well with O’Neill Surf Academy! Our daughter is 9 years and really got an excellent first surf experience, Javier was a great instructor! I can highly recommend this surf shop, we will be back! Thank you Team O’Neill! ⭐

I have taken my Nephew here a couple of times and plan to return with my niece.
The management is well organised and communicate as is necessary.
Instructors are thorough, safe and make the learning experience fun, we will be back soon.
Ohhhh and what better place to learn than the unspoilt super cool, el Palmar!

Great surfing experience in beautiful El Palmar.
Easy to book and plan and great instructor for 3 teenagers that were not sure about surfing. Jose Antonio was very cool And engaging and the kids ended up attending all week. Thanks very much for a great week. Mateo, Sam y Flores

The class was awesome. Instruction was in very well english and i could understand every surfing step very well. I learned to stand on the bord in one leason. My girlfriend wasn’t that easy, but instructor Hawi managed to correct some mistakes, encouraged her and later on she managed to that. Thank you!

My 9 year old son has just finished two days of surf school. The equipment was great, the instructor patient and professional and most importantly, my son really enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

Loved my 3 day course with O’Neills surf academy. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The instructors were awesome, spoke great English and were great craic. Edu and Antonio in particular showed such a personal interest in making it a great experience for me, that I felt I couldn’t let them down - and on Day 2 and 3 I caught my first waves ever. I booked 2 days of private lessons for my boyfriend and I with O'Neill and was very impressed! All paperwork was quickly taken care of on arrival, they knew our names right away, and our instructors were attentive and really helped us to get up quickly. They have nice material, and you can tell that they really enjoy what they do. Each instructor was professional but we also had lots of fun with them. We will definitely come back to O'Neill on our next trip here and continue to surf with them. Gracias a todos!! Volveremos muy pronto!

We booked 5 days of lessons for 2 teenagers who had never surfed before. Mariano and Nelson are so helpful and friendly. Nelson was great with the kids and they had a great time learning how to surf. Highly recommend these guys!!

The O’neill surf Academy in El Palmar is the best place where to learn how to surf! The people working there are super kind, professional and friendly and the gears and boards good quality!

We had two lessons with Edu, he’s very skilled, friendly and clearly passionate about surf!

Perfecto equipo. Classes muy professionales and also in English. We had my nephews (6 and 8 years old) with us and they enjoyed their first surfing class here.

So much fun! This place is a must go! Excellent service - Mariano (the instructor) was incredibly dedicated and competent. When we finally managed to stand up on the board he was as happy as we were (a lot).

I Did a 2h curse today. Good Organisation. I had luck and were alone with the teacher, so i learned a lot. He was very nice, helpful, motivating and i felt well protected. It Was a lot of fun but also a bit arduous in the waves.

We had a brilliant experience with O’Neill surf. My kids did a 5 day surfing course with the guys, they were brilliant, Nelson was great fun as well as being an excellent teacher, my kids were up surfing perfectly by the end of the week, all the equipment was new and it was a real pleasure to meet this crew of great people.
My kids have learned a new life skill & I would give 10 stars if I could.

We called last minute end of december and o’neil managed to arrange us à private lesson ! We had an amazing experience with Rapha who even told us that we’ll not go out of the water before we both catch a wave ! And we did ! Thankssssssss !
