Casa Herminia

Excellent menu for pilgrims. Very abundant, tasty, and incredibly cheap. You should stop there. They sell all sorts of things, so great place to replenish stocks. Worth stopping!

Although did not stay to the Alberque but tried the food at the restaurant and it was really satisfying.
Large quantities and great quality at a very decent price.
It's worth the stop before hitting the road back to the camino!

I don’t want to spend time talking about all the great attributes Casa Hermia has. This is just a great place to eat, sleep, and rest. The whole place is fantastic.
Now let's talk about something important, Casa Herminia is one of the last places, -if you are thinking of going through Hospitales-, to buy supplies for the next day. The restaurant has a small market, where you will find all you need. It is important to remember that once you start your walk through Hospitales is basically nothing and you need to carry all your food and water.
Also if you are having trouble getting a reservation in Borres this will be an excellent option to spend the night.

The best albergue I’ve been so far from Oviedo to Santiago. The place is clean, there are two bathrooms with shower inside giving you privacy. The restaurant was great with meat from their farms. The drier did a good job.

Buen Camino! This is a family run complex business with rooms for single and couple. Restaurant and bar, even a grocery store. One stop you get all. The staff was helpful to help us tracking the lost glasses and booking next stay. The 3 course Camino meal was great!

Herminia is very good at running a business, I think. She expertly talked me into ordering the pilgrim meal. Shower fairly blasts you clean, never come across one so powerful, no need to turn it down, enjoy the experience! Huge tumble drier, good for down sleeping bags I guess. Excellent country shop selling just about everything.

This is an amazing place and an obligatory stop if you are doing el Camino. Really nice staff, good tortilla and coffee. Also they have a store where you can find some things for your trip.

I stayed there on Friday, August 27, 2021. Herminia, the owner, is awesome! She is one of those people who restores your faith in human kind. Did not stay at the albergue but at the hotel and it was worth every single penny. Food was great! Thank you, Herminia: Keep up the good work. You truly make a difference!

I didn't stop to stay, I only had lunch which was plentiful and very tasty.

Dinner! Incredible menu peregrinos! The variety and amount of food surprised me.
The door to one of the bathrooms wouldn't lock, please repair...
The washing and drying machines are huge industrial type, therefore very expensive, 6 euro each. Could work if you share the cost with other piligrims, but this is not always an option (for example if you arrive late).

You can got everything you need on the road. And nice place to rest.
