HOTEL SELBA D'ANSILS

A tranquil location surrounded by nature, very cosy hotel, warm hospitality, super comfortable beds and lovely gardens. We loved waking up to scent of plants, chirping birds, faint ringing of cow bells and cool mountain air. Rafael is most hospitable, just unfortunate that we didn’t have the chance to have dinner during out stay as his wife was ill. Would love to be back.

Exceptional place from the cozy family atmosphere to the high standards in all aspects.
The location is great for mountain stay, it's located among the trees with great mountain views all around but still 10 minutes walk from the Benasqu village.

The breakfast is perfect and rich with everything you wish for and being served to each table in nice dishes and well selected music in the background makes you feel as if you're part of a Disney tale.

For dinner there's a daily menu with great wines along and again the atmosphere in the dining room is hard to compare.

The entire building and area is well maintained and it's noticeable that time was invested to think through all the little details. And nice corners to have a cup of coffee or wine can be found all around.

And the cream de la cream is the service level. From the owner Refael and the entire team is highly service oriented and would love to help with anything anytime, from the day to day requests to great recommendatiins.

Charming hotel in beautiful grounds in a lovely valley with delightful hosts. We stayed here for 5 days in late September. Our room ( No 2, a Standard Double) was plenty big enough, had enough storage space for all our gear and clothes and with an excellent en suite bathroom with lovely toiletries. wide shower and plenty of hot water. The bed was very comfortable and we were neither too hot or too cold. Breakfasts were good with a range of options each day ( fresh fruit, eggs, cold meats. cheese toast, , croissants, breads, cakes,) all served with a smile and a clear desire to provide excellent customer service. We opted to eat in the hotel every night and really appreciated dinner options which allowed us to have ether starter , pud, wine, water at €12 or main, pud etc. for €15 or all 3 courses for €19. we only managed all 3 courses once. There were 2 options for starter and main each night - and everything was really tasty and well cooked. We especially liked the way Pieded cooks the fish, it was so moist and delicious. Drinks at the bar were very reasonably priced - less than €2 for a glass of wine and Rafael delivered our meals with plenty of charm and efficiency. He speaks good English if you need him to. Plenty of space to park your car here It's only about 15 minutes to walk into Benasque and it's hotspots (!) and only 10 minutes to the amazing village of Ansils. A hotel we have already recommended to many of our friends.

Everything was nice about this place. It's my second time here and I cannot complain about anything. The breakfast is really good.

Our fourth stay with Rafael y Piedad and I am sure we will stay again. Always a warm welcome, comfortable rooms and the food is authentic and excellent. The perfect base for the wonderful walking around Benasque.

Excellent hotel and the owners were like family. Food was very good and the price was very reasonable . Rooms were beautiful.

Sitio increíble, la ubicación, vistas y habitaciones inmejorables (muy bonitas y muy limpias).
El trato y simpatía de los dueños ( Flor y Viorel) insuperable, no pueden ser más amables, simpáticos y estar más pendientes de todo.
Para desayunar el bizcocho casero de Flor es de los más ricos que he probado.
Era un hotel que no conocía pero nos ha enamorado, siempre que vuelva a Benasque me alojaré allí

Que dire à part : parfait ! Je vous recommande ce lieu magique où les gérants sont chaleureux et d’une extrême gentillesse. Ma famille et moi reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés, les chambres sont impeccables, dans la nature et le service est d’une grande qualité. Merci

Un lugar especial en un entorno privilegiado. Un regocijo de paz para desconectar en la montaña en un hotel clásico y elegante.

Camas fantásticas y todo perfecto para el descanso y tiempo de calidad. Servicio muy atento y profesional de Flor y todo su equipo.

Desayunos a muy buen nivel. Productos de la zona de buen nivel con servicio a la mesa y un comedor muy agradable.

Casa increíble. Camas súper cómodas con sábanas buenas. Todo perfecto y muy cuidado. Un salon con chimenea súper agradable donde hemos podido disfrutar de una copa como si estuvieramos en casa. Desayuno y cena exquisita.
Sus dueños Flor y Vio, unas personas maravillosas que cuidan a sus clientes en cada detalle. Además cayó una gran nevada y todo estaba precioso.

Estuvimos una noche y se nos quedó corta la estancia, pero le damos un 10 a todo en general. A destacar el buen servicio, la ubicación tranquila, el entorno y las vistas maravillosas, la limpieza del hotel y la habitación, la decoración rústica magnífica y la comida del desayuno buenísima y muy completo!!!

Trato inmejorable, la habitación con terraza y jacuzzi excepcional, el desayuno y la cena espectaculares, repetiremos seguro. Lo recomendamos al 100%. Gracias a Flor y a su marido por hacernos pasar una estancia muy agradable, seguro que os irá muy bien en esta nueva etapa. Un abrazo.

La estancia en este hotel ha sido más que increíble, solo tengo palabras bonitas para los dueños. Flor y Vio le ponen todo el cariño del mundo a cada detalle:
1. Nos hemos alojado en la habitación 9 (con jacuzzi) y era acogedora, limpia con muy buenas vistas y muy agradable.
2. Cenamos una noche ahí y la comida era casera y espectacular. Flor tiene muy buena mano en todo lo que hace. Ah! Los postres caseros, yo pedí el tiramisú… buenísimo!
3. El desayuno es de otro mundo: huevos, embutido ibérico, fruta cortada, café al gusto, zumo natural… inmejorable!
4. Lo mejor de todo sin duda el servicio, te hacen sentir como reyes con cada detalle.
En resumen, los días que hemos pasado alojados en el hotel han sido maravillosos, volveremos seguro y sin duda, lo recomendamos encarecidamente!

Flor y su marido son encantadores y hacen que la estancia sea muy agradable. El sitio es precioso. Las habitaciones muy bien decoradas y supercomodas. El desayuno y el menu diario muy completo…. Y los postres son exquisitos

Hemos ido en numerosas ocasiones en los últimos años y esta era la primera tras el traspaso de operaciones a Flor y Vio. Lo cierto es que han sabido mantener el altísimo nivel en trato y servicio. Increíble que haya habido un traspaso tan completo a dos personas que son excepcionales y a los que les deseamos el mayor éxito. Volveremos con regularidad para irlo comprobando. Saludos. Experiència 100% positiva durant l'estada de tres nits en aquest hotel. També hi hem esmorzat cada matí i sopat en dues ocasions. Tant el descans com els àpats per sobre de les expectatives (que ja eren altes). L'hotel és molt acollidor tant arquitectònicament com pel personal que el dirigeix (recepció, menjador, etc). Està decorat amb gran cura i molt detalls que demostren la vocació del propietaris. I els jardins privats que envolten l'hotel són tot un ampli oasi de pau i silenci enmig de la natura i entre les muntanyes (hi ha cadires, hamaques, i fins i tot una petita piscina). En definitiva, l'Hotel Selba d'Ansils és un lloc extraordinari, fora del comú (he posat comptades vegades 5*). Enhorabona a la Piedad i el Rafael! I que sigui per molts anys! Quan tinguem ocasió segur que hi tornarem! Fins aviat.

Tienen guardaskis en el aparcamiento, algo muy cómodo.
Las habitaciones cómodas y muy limpias.

Le doy 5 estrellas porque no hay más. Ha superado con creces mis expectativas. La ubicación es inmejorable porque estás a un paseo de 20 minutos de Benasque y rodeado de unas montañas impresionantes. El hotel tiene unas zonas exteriores preciosas, con su senda botánica, un bosquecillo, un prado, hamacas entre los árboles para poder leer o simplemente relajarse. La terraza es una gozada también. La amabilidad del personal y el buen gusto en la decoración también son dignos de mención. Y los desayunos exquisitos. Si volvemos a Benasque no me planteo ir a otro hotel.
