We have had our two girls (10 and 5) from Sweden at Queens school for a year now and we are satisfied. From not knowing any English at all, they speak surprisingly well already. The school has small classes, which is a luxury in itself. But the teachers are the ones who make the school good. They all feel engaged and treat both students and parents with interest. It is easy to communicate both with the school and the teachers. Also a fantastic assistant in reception miss Jessica. And Miss Melanie is always there in the morning welcome with a smile.

Our children have also made progress in their knowledge levels in a very good way, even compared to the Swedish schools.
For Christmas and Summer endings the children learn songs and performances to show the parents. Also the school make a Camping trip in the spring. They have sports (P.E.) twice a week. The older ones also have yoga for half the semester and swimming for half, in addition to sports. The school feels familiar and cozy.

What can feel less good is that the school location are a little bad in the center of town, if you leave and pick up by car.
And the premises themselves are not so much for the eye. Enough space in classrooms but not much more than that. There is also a lack of a schoolyard. (However, they are out in another park during the break). And sports, swimming and graduation take place elsewhere.

But overall, I think all schools have pros and cons.
We will start another year soon.
Because the most important thing for us is that our girls feel secure, good progress in school work and good values from the school's side, how you treat each other.

Changing our kid to Queens was the best decision ever. The school is cosy and provides family atmosphere. The whole staff is highly skilled and professional and they are truly children-centred. As a grammar school kids have to expect lots of homework and high academic expectations which was always good for the development and progression of our kid. Thank you Queens!

My daughter joined Queens to do her IGCSEs in September 2020 after relocating from Dubai. Previously Aimee was always an ok student, middle of the road really. At Queens she has become a top student the teachers and support from Mel and Nick have made her shine. She’s always an extremely shy girl not very confident but they encouraged her every day and definitely bought out the best in her. After all the big state of the art schools with all the facilities of a 5 star hotel in Dubai it took good old Queens Grammar school in old town estepona to get her to this incredible achievement of 9 IGCSEs and she aced them all in the last 2 years. Best school ever for my child. Proud and happy to say my daughter went to the best school Queens British Grammar school. A Levels here she comes !!!

We have three children age 10, 13, 16.at Queens.
We have lived in different countries and therefore experienced a few schools round Europe. What this school has done in a couple of months for our children is absolutely amazing! The passionate staff together with their experiences and skills to bring out the best in every child create an atmosphere we haven´t seen in a long time. We highly recommend this school!!! Let Miss Melanie and her staff give you a private tour of the school

My daughter started Queen's at the end of last year. I cannot express how wonderful the school is and all of the teachers. The environment is very homely and my daughter has gone from being shy, withdrawn and bullied in her old school to confident, happy and making excellent progress. She has truly blossomed and for the first time in her life she bounces into school carefree and happy to be there. The staff are approachable and caring, they know each child and their distinct personalities. There are plenty of activities and individual attention given to students to meet their needs. Faultless all round and I am happy to recommend this school to anyone wanting an exceptional standard of education in a warm, safe nd loving environment xxx

My daughter has attended this school for the last year. It is the best school she has ever been in. The friendliness and support she has received are outstanding and she has never been happier.

Put simply, Queens is a sub-standard school (in my opinion, and most others I spoke to). And, I would add, a questionable environment for your children.

Due to relocation, we were forced to find a school for our son at very short notice. We visited Queens, where on arrival it was apparent that the school wasn't much to look at or by way of facilities - it is housed under an apartment building in a densely packed street. It holds a few tired rooms with old equipment and shabby books.
However, not to judge a book by its cover, we met with the head teacher who gave a very convincing sales pitch for the school. The pitch aligned with our values; not concerned about the optics of the school, but focusing on the quality of teaching, a supportive environment and positive all-round life skills.

Unfortunately it was just that, a sales pitch. I'd warn anyone, don't expect because it's a fee-paying school you're guaranteed a good education, we found standards fell well short of our local UK state school.
The head also did her bit: "I shouldn't be saying this but the Russians are a problem in other schools" and "oh, that school's being denied a new lease" etc, trying to disuade us from going elsewhere. This kind of unprofessionalism should've been a red flag.

Contrary to expectations, we found small class sizes were a hinderence more than anything, 2 kids in my child's class had severe learning difficulties, which was highly disruptive and required a lot of the teacher's attention.
Our then 10 year old son was feeding back a lot of disturbing talk about racism and even serious sexual abuse concerning one of the other pupils (at home) - on quering this with the head teacher we were promised a meeting to discuss, which never materialised, they literally ignored it! We were astounded by the lack of professionalism or even basic care.

They promised use of municipal sports facilities but our son experienced very little of that. If they turn up and, for example, a court is in use, no PE that week!
Bear in mind, this school isn't even NABS registered, so effectively isn't even regulated. In just a few months at Queens, our son's grades and mood dropped substantially. It was so bad we pulled him out a term early.
Having been there for a few months, it seemed many other parents we spoke to reported similar experiences with Queens. Our other son went to International School of Estepona, which was excellent but, sadly, only did up to age 10.
Queens is probably not the worst school, it's just not a good one. I'd urge you to do your research and ask around.
