La Boella

We stayed at La Boella for 2 nights. It’s one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The hotel is stunning, the staff is nothing short of fantastic and the overall experience was definitely one for the books- if one needs a quick getaway from Barcelona, this offers the peace and calm and beauty that a true excellent hotel has.,

PS- the restaurant needs a special mention because we have had our best meals in Spain there. Thing of note: that Cheesecake is the best cheesecake I’ve ever had.

Our best hotel during all our stay in Spain. Five-star quality at a four-star level price (low season, stayed in the “Comfort” room). Truly exceptional, prior reviews are very accurate. The staff have been great, we even got a hand-written welcome note upon arrival, with pillow menu and various complementary options in the room. Good rustic-chic combination, with modern amenities (gym, pool, air conditioning) but with a farmhouse style historic decor. The restaurant as well was excellent. The gym could have perhaps some heavier weights (heaviest was 15kg dumbell) but this is minor. Roger at the reception was a gem, gave us great vineyard recommendations nearby as well to visit and made sure we had all we needed when we arrived. Also to note, there’s a nice trail (camino de la boella) that goes for 1-10km from the hotel, perfect for a little mountain bike ride or jog. Breakfast was complimentary and was the best we’ve had, including charcuteries, cheeses, fruits, baked goods, freshly squeezed orange juice and omelettes. Also, although the hotel is very close to the highway, the building and vineyards mask the sound and you feel like you’re in a remote castle in the mountains. We slept like babies the whole time. Highly recommend. We booked directly on the website and got a small discount. Edit: I also noticed some of the recent reviews, from people who haven’t stayed at the hotel nor tried the restaurant, and only went to the adjacent Tesla Supercharger and were expecting the hotel to be a convenience store/gas station of sorts. I would disregard those.

We stayed here once 2 years ago but only for one night and we arrived super late and left early right after breakfast, so we couldn't really enjoy but we had some time this time to enjoy our room, and the Michelin star 0 km restaurant for lunch and dinner too. 👌🏼 We also got upgraded, which was a nice touch, even though the room we stayed last time and booked this time as well was already amazing! 🥰❤

I only wished that the pool was cleaned to have a swim, but otherwise it's a perfect place to unwind and relax. We will absolutely come back!

This is a wonderful location. It is a little piece of heaven in Tarragona. Tarragona has a rich Spanish history and many historical monuments to visit, but after a long hot day in the sun you can enjoy some peace and quite in the beautifully planned gardens. Rooms have airconditioning, and the food and service are extraordinary. This was an old winery and olive grove. The architects have preserved some of the structures and machinery and added a beautifully and carefully planned gardens. Now, the old and new integrated buildings are transformed into a hotel and an event center. I would call La Boella the Majestic Secret Place of Tarragona.

We pulled up to charge the EV and noticed it was inside a big property. Upon closer inspection it turned out to be a Hotel. The room was booked on the same day using Booking and was mid-range in price. The quality definitely was above the price point. Beautiful property, rooms and breakfast.
Will definitely come back again and enjoy it for a few more days

Amazing hotel! I just broke my leg and had a cast and was pretty unable to move, so me and my boyfriend checked in there until we could fly home one week later. The receptionist was the BEST! She helped us so much, they came with the breakfast to our room because I couldn’t walk and was just so nice. The room was amazing too, the bed was so comfortable. Such nice surroundings. We went out with my wheelchair to look at the beautiful gardens and orange trees everyday. But especially BIG thanks to the receptionist who was extremely kind and nice to us. Great memories from there even under the circumstances with my broken leg. 5 stars!

Stunning oasis, beautiful. Rooms are exceptional. We were lucky to join in at the Nomad festival, something for everyone, food music and stalls.

Amazing stay. Welcoming level and premises are just excellent. Bedding is so good, we slept deeply like very few times in the last months. Happy discovery on the road nearby AP7. We will stop again in LaBoella for sure.

Such a lovely quiet place. Super decoration. Luxurious. Loved the bathroom and the king size bed. The orange trees and the olive trees and the gardens are magic. Visit the wine cellar and the olive press!

We planned a calçotada in group and it was a great experience. The staff was very kind and respectful. We were a diversity group and they adapt the menu for vegetarian people.

Absolutely the best four star hotel and restaurant that I have ever experienced. Beautiful well maintained and spotlessly clean quiet rooms, very comfortable beds, excellent service. The food and service in the restaurant is extraordinary. Every meal was beautifully prepared and presented and most importantly delicious.

Olive visit and a store are just of top-quality.

Absolutely satisfied with the quality of visit at the olive mill. We had a charming guide speaking languages just perfectly and knowing all the process from A to Z. Tasting is well organized as well, products are of a good quality. Being on such visits all the time as I'm working in tourism sphere, I can say that this one is one of the best. You will know the difference between olives' varieties as well as all the process of harvesting and production of olive oil. 10/10

We were so lucky to have found this gem. Every little detail in this place was breathtaking. The staff were so kind and professional. I loved the stay and hopefully I’ll come again.

Very gorgeous grounds and suites! The staff were really friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is the beds were a little hard.

I'm a Tesla user always welcome by the people from the hotel and restaurants even when some users use the SUCs "chargers" as conventional parking . Thanks for the hospitality

My favorite place! Quiet, with great restaurant, wonderful sunsets, can buy great olive oil and wine in the shop.
