We only had breakfast there but didn’t stay in the hotel itself. They have eggs, good coffee and delicious home made empanadas. The jamon in the sandwich was exceptional.

Another private choice, but what a place! This is a luxury albergue with amazing facilities (at regular albergue cost) each bunk bed has a little curtain to separate it, and since the place did not fill up and nobody came above me, I had a bit of a private suite for the night –nice!! The food was excellent, and they even had a little room with a yoga mat, where I was able to do some much needed yoga.

We were in need of refreshment on El Camino outside A Fonsagrada...not a room, just coffee, breakfast, water and a bathroom. We were not disappointed. Just walk down the path and step over the little fence and you will be there. 6 euro got us the keys to the kingdom, even pastries to take with us for lunch, and the proprietor was extremely gracious. Buen camino!

Recommend as a strong stopping point for pilgrims on the Camino Primitivo! The Albergue is clean, spacious and cozy for $10 euros a night. Towels and linens are provided and there is a kitchen to cook, as well as a huge restaurant/bar below and beautiful porch area. There are pensiones too, 35-50 euros. The entire place is gorgeous, clean and comfortable. This place is not shown in the Eroski guide but it saved us during a lightning storm on our way from A Fonsagrada to O Cádavo Baleiro. It’s not directly on the Camino, about 250m off the Camino on the main highway.

Great menu with a variety of food to choose from. We stuck with the menu del dia and had superb caldo de Gallego and the tastiest beef I had in a very long time.

I thoroughly recommend this restaurant to all and sunder!

Or family celebrated two birthdays here, close to 20 meals served with drinks and multiple helpings. Great service and tasty food. Lots of food!

Great service and friendly

This is the Rolls Royce category of albergues, very modern, unique and privacy-granting approach to shared sleeping space (sleeping 'pods' grouped by 2 or 4 bunk beds, separated by courtains from the rest of the sleeping area). Chill-out space, terrace, well-equipped kitchen (no grocery store on location so you'd have to bring your own ingredients should you want to cook), laundry machines, restaurant which offers great menu along with excellent friendly service.

An perfect quiet choice as the masses of pilgrims will stop further up the way and don't leave Fonsagrada. This is located very close past Padron, make the extra half hour walk, it's well worth staying here!

The albergue part is nice and the beds are seperated with curtains, providing some privacy.
