Recently changed ownership. The interior has since been remodeled and the menu has been revamped.

There is a lot more personality and passion now. It's very noticeable. The place is a lot busier and it's well deserved.

I had the "Hamburgesa de Retinto" and it was lovely. Many restaurants in the town appear to use simple frozen patties, meat formed into shape with the taste and texture of a public cafeteria. I shared these complaints with the new owner and she showed me the meat they were buying, and you can tell it's quality. Attached is a picture of the products she showed me, as well as a view of the new interior

A breath of fresh air, and I would highly recommend

Very good food. Local Spanish restaurant. One of the best paella I had had. Good to have a reservation over the weekend.

Only recently reopened, and what a great addition to The Plaza. Food is great quality and fairly priced. The waitresses are really friendly and so tolerant if your Spanish isn't great!

Tapas, 1/2 and Racion portions mean you can eat as little or as much as you like.

Good restaurant...we had good food for good money. Also the staff was very friendly. The food took some time to come but it was worth while.

Very good prices and good service...and the food is great. Can be very busy and not good for those with limited mobility but they do their best to accommodate everyone.

Don't go past the solomillo with fried onions and PX sauce. 4 € gets you a tapas which is easily a half racione

Excellent service just of the main plazza Algodonales for me the breakfast was superb bacon and egg on larger toast with coffee.
