Hotel "O Cruceiro"

Great overnight stay during our Camino. This hotel gets great marks for convenience. There is a very well stocked Froiz supermarket directly across the street.

Noisy street to have windows open for air circulation, would suggest ear plugs (have these available in reception). Not too far a walk from things in town and restaurants/cafes. I don’t recommend the restaurant downstairs. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great value and very generous.

Stayed in a private 2person room! So cute and so clean! Everyone is very nice and the shower is hot with great water pressure. Comfy beds. Attached restaurant is amazing.

15€ for a clean and spacious 4 bedroom. From outside a big scary but inside it has everything a pilgrim need and desire. Welcoming reception, nice common areas, good ventilation, and the bar open since extremely early in the morning for the perfect start of a day of walk.
DON’T JUDGE BY THE COVER

We stayed at albergue o'cruciero and it's one of those that's actually hotel with an albergue wing. And it's great.So far, the best albergue in the Camino, with 3 star hotel standards. There's a restaurant downstairs that serves terrific food and a cafe that starts at 7am which is important for us pilgrims. The rooms are clean and you have the choice of 6-beds,4 beds and double rooms. Prices are $12 for the hostel type and $15 for a double room with attached bathroom and perfect bedsheets, even a hairdryer. There's no restrictions on check in time and an elevator to bring you up when walking in on a tired day. What more can we ask for? 5*rating.

Brilliant with taking care of travellers. Honest and generous, even to a free packed lunch as I missed evening meal. Highly recommend. Sir feet :-) 😀

Everything a pilgrim need to the end of their camino....good food, central location and a washing machine!

What a great Albergue this is ...the single occupancy rooms was great value with internal bathroom. I think the only difference between this place and the hotel room is you provide your own towel...would recommend to any 'grim.

Fuimos a comer un grupo de unas 25 personas entre adolescentes y padres. Trato inmejorable,comida casera ,cantidad y calidad. Muy bueno todo.
Volveremos sin duda. Gracias.

War sehr zufrieden. Freundliche Miarbeiter und ein guter Service, die Waschmaschine nebst Trockner waren ein echtes Highlight. Das Abendessern war OK, aber nichts Besonderes, das Frühstück hingegen sehr gut.

Es la segunda vez que elegimos este hotel/Albergue O Cruceiro. Hotel y albergue en uno. Este hotel dispone de habitaciones del hotel y otras con literas a modo de habitación de albergue y con baño privado para alojar peregrinos que van hacia Santiago. Nosotros nos hospedamos en una habitación con baño privado para 4 personas con animal de compañía adaptado y se portaron fenomenal con nosotros. Nos lo pusieron muy fácil... Y nos acogieron estupendamente. La habitación era estupenda, amplia y las camas muy cómodas, con sábanas de tela y toallas super esponjosas, cosa q se agradece muchísimo si eres peregrino y no llevas toalla en la mochila. Hay una zona común con cocina y nevera por si necesitas guardar alimentos. Y dispone de lavadora y secadora para lavar tu ropa de caminar. Hay terracita y un restaurante en la planta de abajo. Muy céntrico, y con un supermercado justo en frente del hotel. No hay aire acondicionado, (aunque tampoco se necesita realmente) pero si un ventilador muy potente que sirve perfectamente si hiciera calor. El precio super estupendo... 64€ los 4. A unos 16€ por cabeza... Es decir, FENOMENAL...!! Lo recomiendo totalmente...!!! Y volveremos algún día d nuevo...!!
