Cuevas de Arguedas

Fascinating visit - inhabited until the 1960s. Bit if a scramble but worth exploring the inside rooms, some in a terrible state, others looking like they're only recently vacated.

Amazing to see how people lived in these cave until the early sixties.

Worthy visit, they have restored a few caves to see how the people was living in there. There is a sign saying that is not allowed to enter inside the caves but if you are aware and quiet I think is not an issue, just walk inside and enjoy the place.

Excellent stopover but not much in the village. The caves are an interesting walk and the scenery is beautiful.

Fantastic to think people live in them. You can go up and visit them. No charge. Lovely village friendly locals.

Amazing, the place is great and the caves are well conserved, you should come and see them by yourself.

Oso leku interesgarria da, Arguedasen historia pixka bat gehiago ezagutzeko. Haitzuloak garbitzeko eta kontserbatzeko lan handia egin da. Informazio-panel batez gain, bideo eta errealitate areagotuarekin osa dezakezu bisita.

Ein sehr cooler Ort! Voll spannend, dass hier in den 1960ern noch Menschen wohnten!

Wunderschöne Landschaft, so etwas schönes habe ich noch nie gesehen

Die frei zugänglichen Höhlenwohnungen sind einen Besuch wert. Man erreicht sie in wenigen Schritten vom Womoparkplatz aus. Es ist beeindruckend, wie lange die Menschen dort gelebt haben (ca.1960). Ein älterer Herr fährt dort im Rollstuhl herum und hat uns erzählt, dass er als Kind da aufgewachsen ist. Wir waren fasziniert von den Behausungen.
