Restaurante Aguatinta

This restaurant was such a pleasant surprise hidden in Aranjuez. It’s unassuming from the outside but has a lovely terrace in the back. The food was really good - highly recommend the razor clams and the tomato salads. Everyone in our party of 4 loved the main courses too - oxtail, rack of lamb, goat chops and the hake. The desserts are also great, but the chocolate cake was a bit too sweet.

Service was efficient and so kind. It was also easy to reserve on a weekday.

We would come from Madrid just to eat dinner here again.

Lovely Spanish restaurant with friendly staff. Starters are quiet big so do well to share. I had pulled beefburger, it was delicious best burger ever. Others enjoyed lamb cutlets, bonefree suckling pig and cod cheeks. Prices a little high & wine €32 for casa vino tinto! Google translate great help with menu as no English spoken. We enjoyed our visit.

Busy restaurant, food excellent. Always advisable to book. If you are looking for a good Spanish dining experience, this is it. Go there whenever we're in Aranjuez.

Excellent restaurant. Friendly staff and lovely courtyard to sit in especially during the evening. We had an amazing dinner with delicious starters and great local specialties. Please note the portions are rather big and very delicious. We had an amazing time. Please note reservations upfront are required since they are quickly fully booked.

Amazing callos. I think the best callos plate I ever taste. Nice place, a bit noise but you can enjoy of the most delicious Spanish food. Very wide wine choices. The only bad thing is just one single toilet.

Fabulous food. Attentive staff, great wine by the glass. Nice patio on a Summer"s evening. Good atmosphere. We only spoke Spanish so not a tourist hangout.

Fantastic food

Agradable restaurante en el centro de Aranjuez que merece la pena conocer. Buena decoración, varios salones bien diferenciados y uno de ellos con un patio precioso.
La comida excelente, tradicional de mercado, con buen producto muy bien cuidado en la cocina. Los pescados muy frescos y las carnes de muy buena calidad. Amplia carta donde siempre encontraremos algo que satisfaga nuestro apetito. La carta de vinos acordé al nombre del local y a la calidad del restaurante, amplia con muchas y muy buenas referencias.
El equipo de sala es atento, educado y muy profesional.
Que no se te olvide reservar si piensas ir porque es difícil comer sin reserva.

Local muy agradable, un poco ruidoso y no hay mucho espacio (aunque en la mesa hay amplitud suficiente). Excelente la comida, sobretodo los primeros platos. Recomendada especialmente la ensaladilla rusa de lubina estilo aguatinta, riquísima y muy sorprendente, no es lo que en principio se espera con el nombre "ensaladilla rusa", ya que es una mezcla homogénea, pero nos gustó mucho a todos. Lo único que nos defraudó un poco fue la ensalada de perdiz, que tiene mucha perdiz y buen sabor pero echamos de menos el jugo del escabeche, supongo que no estaba por cuestión estética pero ya digo que fue el único fallo. Con vino, postres y café salimos a algo más de 50€ por persona, así que barato no es, pero la calidad lo merece. Como empezamos a comer a las 15h, debíamos ser el último turno y muchos platos de la carta (que es muy amplia) estaban agotados, así que mejor empezar más pronto. Hay que decir que como los platos "suplentes" nos gustaron mucho, los "titulares " debían ser de escándalo.

Este restaurante es una experiencia gastronómica. Los platos y sus maridajes sorprenden el paladar. La presentación de los platos es hermosa. Los mejores callos que he probado y la carta debpostres tentadora. El ambiente es muy agradable, música de fondo que le da un toque de sofisticación y decoración moderna. Vale la pena conocerlo.
