Much bigger than we thought it would be, and still more being excavated

What a lovely little hidden gem, fantastic Roman ruins that you can stroll around and a very interesting and informative museum. It was very quiet when we were there but we were made to feel very welcome and staff went out of thier way to be helpful.

A Preroman and later Roman settlement that was unearthed in an archeological dig. The site is very well preserved and offers a lot of information.

Adjacent to the Castro is a small museum (free entry when we were there) showing pieces that have been found on site. The descriptions of life in the village and the objects are all in Galician, but translations can be found in leaflets free of charge.

Incredible Celt settlement , still to be discovered how and when this very old architectural structure came to existence , a must seen when visiting Lugo and it's points of interest

Nos gustó mucho la visita, nos pilló de paso y nos acercamos a verlo.
El museo está muy bien.

Muy bien cuidado. A lo largo de los años va mejorando con nuevos descubrimientos.

El castro está abierto todo el dia aunque el museo cierra a las 8 y no nos dió tiempo a verlo.La entrada es gratuita para ambas cosas.Merece la pena visitarlo.

Un lloc molt interessant amb moltes troballes arqueologiques de l' època celta

Este pequeño edificio se construyó posiblemente en el siglo IV aunque no se sabe exactamente su finalidad. Puede que se relacione con el culto de las aguas y en siglos posteriores se emplea como iglesia cristiana. Se conservan unas pinturas murales romanas extraordinarias y de gran realismo con colorido impresionante en las que se representan aves diversas como pavos reales, palomas o faisanes. Se sitúa en una aldea de arquitectura tradicional donde se conservan casas, cobertizos, hornos, hórreos

Muy muy recomendable. La mijer que bos ha atendido supersimpática el video explicativo de 11minutos muy bien hecho y muy bien planteado. El museo o centro de interpretación pequeño pero completo y el castro precioso, muy instructivo y muy bien cuidado. Es todo gratuito pero no por ello menos digno.
No es que sea una visita obligatoria pero si muy digna de desviarse por ella.

Eine archäologische Anlage, die sehenswert ist.

Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Museum. Es ist relativ klein, aber hervorragend gemacht. Zu den verschiedenen Räumen gibt es Informationen in verschiedenen Sprachen, da alles in galizisch geschrieben ist. Eine tolle Idee.
Ein Museum, dass auch Kindern Spaß macht, obwohl es nicht interaktiv ist.

Die Mitarbeiterinnen waren unheimlich nett und der Museumsbesuch ist gratis.
