El Trillo Restaurante Granada

This was the best restaurant we ate at in Spain. We were seated outside under a sun umbrella facing the Alhambra, which we visited the day before. The food was incredible, very authentic (we had pork dishes and the black squid rice, desserts and drinks.) It’s a bit of a hike to get up to the restaurant, but the views were worth it (lemon trees at the entry.)

Wow the views from the terrace are stunning and the set menu incredible value. I was so full there was so many tasty courses. Big shout of for the gazpacho. The courtyard garden is gorgeous but has no views. The service was so friendly

My husband and I had such a wonderful dinner at El Trillo last night! We particularly enjoyed the squid ink rice with pulpo, and the stewed pork knuckle recommended by our server Sara. Service and recommendations by Sara were impeccable👌🏻 and our experience was made perfect by the view of Alhambra from our outdoor seats on the second floor terrace on a chilly Granada evening. Highly recommended and a must visit in Granada!

Excellent experience. We walked in at 7:30 without a reservation and were seated on the patio. Other parties were slightly cold and the staff brought blankets. Top notch service. Best of Granada.

Amazing location w/ outside seating also. Service and Food were A++. Great food selection, presentation, and gourmet taste. Drink menu is extensive, and inside is charming. All and all A+ we will be back next time we visit Granada ❤ Thank You

Don’t think twice, this restaurant was great from the food to the service to the ambiance. We tried the croquettes, two different kinds of risottos, and the pork with what seemed to be either a pumpkin or butternut squash mash that was incredible! I recommend to make a reservation. We came here on Friday June 2nd, it was raining a ton and the servers were so kind, they even gave us plastic bags to make rain coats out of them so we wouldn’t get drenched. It made for a hilarious but lovely experience. We can’t wait to go back, hopefully soon!

Came here on a Rick Steves recommendation and it did not disappoint. The service was welcoming and friendly with wonderful ambiance (we sat inside as it was a rainy day). The food was absolutely delicious! I had the artichoke and rice dish which was perfectly cooked, included beans and asparagus, and was flavored beautifully. My friend had the wild boar and mushroom risotto which was perfect. They also had a great selection of teas including caffeine-free infusions, something I found hard to find during my travels in Spain so far. I would absolutely return here, hopefully on a nice day to sit in the garden.

We have had no reservation, but that was no problem. Very comfortable service. The food is awesome. We will eat there a second time. We ate there a second and a third time, every Meal was very good. Try the mixed dessert plate! ( enough for four people). Making a reservation is recommended, but if you come early (8pm), sometimes there are tables free.

Excellent food in a wonderful setting. We showed up for lunch without reservations and were lucky to get a table almost immediately. The waiting staff is fast snd correct, but not overly friendly. The food was fantastic, both in terms of preparation and presentation. It also was served pretty quickly. We enjoyed sitting in the garden which is small and quaint. We recommend making a reservation as the restaurant was completely full for lunch on a Monday.

Be sure to make a reservation in advance. A nice quiet respite from the street side restaurants near Plaza Nuevo. Quiet garden setting with delicious meat, fish and veggie options.

With a beautiful view over Alhambra, this could be a must on the to-do-list in Granada. The dishes are original and delicious and the long balcony with a view will make up your day.

Awesome everything. Due to the view I thought at first it could be a “tourist trap” but not at all! The venue was great, they had indoor and outdoor (beautiful patio and terrace) available. Menu was varied. Great wine by the glass selection. Loved the shrimp and stew “croquetas” as well as the grilled codfish with beet pure, potatoes and pork belly. Not expensive for the quality of the food. Service was also great, friendly, and not pushy at all. A must in Granada for a formal lunch or dinner, I really recommend it!

Very tasty dishes! The salmorejo was delicious and the grilled cod was tender and flavourful! The spinach salad was also highly recommended!

This place is a marvel. It has the best view in Granada (make sure to book a Terrace table from their site) where you can watch the sunset on the Alhambra. The food is delicious and the service is top notch. Really, service reminds of a Michelin starred restaurant. A must for a romantic dinner.

Hidden gem with really delicious food. The location of the restaurant is away from all the busy hustle makes it more intimate and special. Absolutely love the rock fish and the baby octopus risotto. Desserts were ok but lack of surprises. Staffs were all friendly. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to people who visit Granada!

Service was great, food was great - quite different dishes from what we've had in Spain so far. Menu is laid out clearly with information on all allergens. Menu in English available. And the ambience was really nice - we sat outside, and there were fruit trees and flowers around. There is an upstairs seating area too, with views of the Alhambra.
