A wonderful location for a weekend away with friends. Paco and Rosario were amazing hosts and organised a delicious and homemade Moroccan meal of chicken and lamb tajines, a mixed salad, and freshly baked bread to have on arrival, as we travelled in late from Madrid. It was a relief not to have to worry about cooking after the long drive.

The house is perfect for large groups, with bedrooms (2 x twins & 3 doubles) and towels and toiletries for everyone. The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee machine, oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. There were enough plates, cutlery, glasses, wine glasses, and cups for a group twice our size (we were 10) and it was nice not having to do the dishes!

It was a bit chilly at night, but it provided a good excuse to use the fireplace and the radiators worked well in the bedrooms.

The BBQ area was great for the day time, and the house is not far from the castle at Las Peñas and the vineyards in Albacete.

Highly recommended!

Es una casa rural tremenda!!! Especialmente para familias o parejas que quieran disfrutar de la gastronomía tradicional de Albacete, Los Pocicos y Las Peñas: ajo mataero, atascaburras, caldereta de cordero... la Nueva York de La Mancha!!!

Sitio fabuloso, perfectamente equipado, hay unas excursiones preciosas desde allí y los propietarios son gente entrañable. Lo recomiendo 100%
(Por no hablar del entorno gastronómico)

Espectacular pasamos un fin de semana genial de descanso y tranquilo en plena naturaleza. Totalmente recomendado. Volveremos sin duda. Gracias por todo.

Perfect country hideaway for a large family, away from the hustle and bustle of city living. Enjoy a peaceful and quiet rural setting. Poor internet service ensure every family member spend time on group activites/communication and foster bond building.
