Worth visiting for the building alone, you can see it from the river and it's fantastic. I wish there had been more information available about the building, the flyer you get when you buy a ticket gives information about the church building but the rest of it was incredible too - the chimneys and connecting parts where the galleries are now. Tickets €1.80, cash only. The art work we saw was challenging (in a good way) and we left feeling haunted by what we had seen and full of discussion, which was perfect. The grounds are stunning too. The whole experience was well worth the walk, which was 20 ish minutes from the city centre.

An absolute must!
I randomly decided to walk there, took me about 30min from the center.
The website says you have to pay to get in but no one asked me for any money.
The space is amazing and worth a visit on itself. The main exhib that was on that day was amazing though. The small shows were great too.
There is also a bar there but I did not visit it.
The whole visit took me an hour but you could easily spend 2-3 hours there.
Wheelchair accessible

The entry ticket is only 1.8 euros. Only a few people, it is bigger than I expected, many artworks. And you can access and take pictures in the historical building and garden. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience. As others say, it’s an amazing building and a great space to exhibit the art.
Well worth a visit and for the price of 1.80 each, incredible value.

Well worth a visit but allow a couple of hours to soak it all in. There are obviously a few exposiciones that you may only glance at but all of the spaces are fabulously airy and the whitewashed ecclesiastical backdrop and architecture is a joy to walk through. The highlight was the pictures, drawings and videos of the Estampa Popular Sur exposicion, too many pieces to take in but vital viewing and a moving insight into Spain's journey to democracy. The simple ash-filled flowerpot memorials to the huge groups of ordinary folk murdered during the dictatorship are poignant, sad and very understated, you follow them through the cloisters with an increasing feeling of respect and outrage, essential viewing. Plenty of baños, excellent disabled access, free or very cheap tickets and an excellent bar with friendly staff make this one of my Seville favourites.

What a wonderful building and contemporary art space. So worth a visit and totally under-rated.

Our guide book barely mentioned this gallery and the small mention was it as a monastery building. Yes it is a monastery building, but it is so much more. We loved the exhibitions. The space itself is wonderful and perfect for art. Lovely internal gardens like a perfect oasis.

Cost euro €1.80 each - absolute bargain.

A lot of information, well presented, beautiful location, we enjoyed the exhibitions a lot. Too bad the feet could not keep up after a day’s walking through the city. Come well rested and you will not be disappointed.

Really great experience for a tiny entrance fee (free for ICOM members). The contemporary art mixes wonderfully with the historical building. The exhibitions are thoughtfully curated, with a wide range of artists (including a large number of women artists and POC 👏🏻). Overall super interesting. A few points that can be improved for me : -the website is very dated and doesn’t have all the information one would need to visit, a better one would match the quality of the art work better -the food at the cafe was ok but not great
-not necessarily easy for people that aren’t familiar with contemporary art to understand what is presented -> maybe more interactive tours, contents, introductions? Thanks!

At first, we thought we'd arrived at the wrong place. It seemed somewhat underwhelming. The first 2 exhibits were not really our thing. Finally, we entered the gallery exhibiting Manuel Barbadillo and a few other artists. Just about all this final (& largest ) exhibit excited us. Overall we really enjoyed our visit and if we were to come back to Seville we would come back again.

Absolutely awesome space for art exhibitions. We viewed the Gala Porras-Kim, Manuel Barbadillo and Devenir Pintura shows which were fantastic. Beautifully presented and definitely worth the effort. The gardens and cafe are very good too.

What a treasure. Nothing that you expect from the name of this museum. Modern contemporary art with a selection of wonderful pieces and installations. Even the gardens around are worth a visit.

Interesting mix of modern art, old ceramic kilns and chimneys and religious alters, ceilings and monuments. It actually worked really well and its good the history of the building has been retained in the modern world. Good value and exceeded my expectations.

We didn’t quite know what to expect before arriving at this gallery through the abandoned buildings of Expo’92. We absolutely loved the 3 hours we spent exploring the galleries and grounds of this amazing space. Whether you are into contemporary art or historic and unique architecture you must make this a priority on your trip to Seville. Our highlight was Soledad Seville’s awe inspiring and poetic site specific installations. A must visit!

If you like modern art and quirky buildings this is a must see. Art is well curated and displayed. This is the kind of place that reminded me why I love art. Impressive buildings. Unique art gallery. Different sections with changing exhibitions. The buildings are an eclectic mix. One of the exhibitions I saw today was a world class exhibition. If you like modern art and quirky buildings this is a must see.

Lots of interesting and thought-provoking exhibitions. We especially loved the exhibition from the Roma artist and the contemporary bus stop piece outside the building. Funky!
