Club de Golf El Bosque

Second course played in the region and probably one of the top 3 I have played anywhere. I absolutely loved it. The course is spectacular, the holes are challenging but you are rewarded for good shots and it is possible to score well. From the moment we walked in I was impressed with the staff, the facilities and most of all the aesthetics of the course itself. Very friendly and the staff go put of their way to help. The back 9 has recently had lots of renovation so some patches of turf or ground under repair but didn't take away from the experience one bit. Quite hilly so I wouldn't recommend carrying clubs. Highly recommend and would love to return and play another round. Thanks for having us. They also have a free app with a comprehensive course guide built in which is a first for me but a nice touch.

We’ve played El Bosque a few times when visiting Valencia. It’s about 25 minutes & €35 in a taxi from the Patriax district.

The Pro Shop is always very friendly & helpful. A coffee on the stunning patio is a great way to soak up the course views & get a sense of the layout. It’s also the perfect spot for a beer afterwards.

€1 for a bucket of range balls (coin required), €30 for a buggy, €25 for decent hire clubs & €72 green fee (October) is on par(😄) with other local courses.

The layout features plenty of height changes, some water & lots of bunkers. The T’s are well maintained as are the fairways. The greens are great & roll well but can suffer from pitch marks so just spend a minute repairing any whilst you weigh up your putt. It’s a good challenge off the whites or blacks, particularly the par 3’s which require an accurate long iron.

A great golfing experience in hills west of Valencia & one I’d recommend to all golfers.

That the course has been designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. is clear to anyone who has had the joy of playing some of his other designs.

The course is a challenge to most, some very long holes, and some short, a lot up and down, but a course that ideally is walked despite of the height differences.

The training facilities are also quite spectacular. Two putting greens, a covered driving range and on top an open air driving range, and several greens to practice your chipping and short game in general.

Fantastic clubhouse with a spectacular view, good food and service.

Played at this course yesterday, fantastic scenery and challenging course. Greens lightning quick and a true test of course management. Highly recommended and will definitely play here again next time in Valencia.

Slick greens, challenging course and a lovely setting near Godelleta. Lots of undulating fairways so go with someone who knows the course to stay out of trouble.
